Zed The Evil Taco Posted September 13, 2011 Report Share Posted September 13, 2011 So, I've noticed that I'm not the only one on this site who does machinima. In fact, I've noticed a lot lately. So I decided to start this topic. This is a topic for all machinima people on the site, or for those interested in starting/joining one. I propose we join together in a single group to do machinima. We stay in our own groups (if we have them) to do machinima, but we work as a larger group. How we do this is by putting a name at the beginning of our machinima, saying we are part of this group, to advertise to others that this is us, then add our own group name after that. I.E. in one of my episodes, the first screen would say (whatever name we decide) then switch and say Misinformed Humor, since that is my group. Get it? Next, we keep this forum updated with our projects. If we have a project we are working on that others are interested in, we post it here. I'll keep this first post updated with all the shows. If we need help, we ask for it, then I'll post here what shows are need the help. I'll also try to post how many or what exactly they need. If the show is in green, then the show is doing great. It will have post times after it, and will have a link leading to the episodes. These shows need no help. If the show is in yellow, then they need some help acting. This is for people who don't have microphones or don't want lines. They listen to the director of the show and help as needed. Misinformed Humor's: "Location, Location, Location" - This show needs some extras for the background. Misinformed Humor's: "Helljumpers" - This show needs some extras for the background. ____Hellbringer has volunteered for an Extra position. CryoTech's: "Halo Top Ten" - This show needs six actors. 343i.org's Machinima - This show needs everyone willing! Total Mayh3m is available for extras in a set. That is also their gamertag. They can mostly help out on Fridays. If the show is in blue, they need writers, directors, or other crew. If you think you have what it takes, talk to the crew. 343i.org's Machinima - This show need everything you can think of. If you want to do it, be our guest. This color is for voice actors. Some people will need them. You should pm the person who needs help on this one, and figure out some way to do auditions, because, unfortunately, you can't always do the voices. Misinformed Humor's: "G.Y." - This show needs some bad guys, and a girl. 343i.org's Machinima - This show need everyone willing. What is this, lavender? If the show is in this color, the show needs equipment. Meaning capture cards, programs, or other things like that. If the show is in red, they are in serious trouble. The show will probably stop soon unless the problem is resolved. If the show is in bold black, it was unfortunately cancelled. Hopefully this won't happen at all. If the show is underlined and black, then it is an idea for a show. The person who posted it regrettably can't do it, but is throwing ideas out there for others to use. Also, I'll be posting who is a part of the group. If you need help with anything dealing with machinima, contact one of them, see if they can help. If you can be part of the group, say so. Best we've come up with so far is Machinimators. Edit: In a few months, I'll be moving. I've asked Vitamin PWN to keep you updated in my absence. Misinformed Humor's "G.Y." is a show about a group of test subjects, who are forced to fight for themselves. But somebody is holding all the cards and plotting against them. It is a comedy show originally thought up to spoof Red vs. Blue. Misinformed Humor's "Location, Location, Location" is a show to advertise great maps made by the community. It features one map a week and the same cast as "G.Y.". If you feel you have a map that can make it there, don't hesitate to suggest it to a gamertag that I have yet to create. When I do, I'll let you know. Misinformed Humor's "Helljumpers" is an action show about a group of ODSTs who discover a conspiracy to destroy humanity. They, of course, are trying to stop that from happening. CryoTech's "Halo Top Ten" is, I'm assuming (for now), a clip show showing off the best clips on Halo Reach/3/ODST. Like fails of the weak mixed with Top 5. 343industries.org's very own online show! It will be filmed in Halo, for obvious reasons, and uploaded to youtube. Each week it will contain hijinks and topics from around the forum, to keep you up to date and entertained. Everyone is welcome in the show, and invited. I can't do anything about a mic, but if you Google "Audacity", you should find it for free. No spyware, no virus, nothing. Official website to download it from for free.
