The names Crimson, Majestic and Castle - Map pack or fireteam names?

So, what do you think? We all know that Crimson, Majestic and Castle were 3 fireteams in Spartan Ops, with Crimson being the team you play as in Spartan Ops missions, Majestic being mentioned in missions and being the team from whose perspective we see part of the episodes' story from, and with Castle simply being a bunch of dudes you've never seen but hear a lot about.

 

Yet, we also know that the 3 Map Packs released, Crimson, Majestic, and Castle (Forge Island technically belongs to Castle) have the exact same name. So, there has to be a sort of correlation, right?

So, who do you think was named first? Is Crimson the name of the map pack and the fireteam just based off of it, or is it the other way around and the Fireteam was named first and the map pack was named after the team?

i think you are overthinking this I just think 343 decided call them names of fire teams in halo 4 because I don't know it was a name and I think if fitted well with the 3 dlcs

Well, the names of the fireteams were designed first, and in the tradition of map packs for Halo, they are named after something in the game.
