Composite Armour
It's not worth it. Halo wars would be afwul on PC.

Composite Armour
And exactly why would it be awful? That clunky god afwul control system that was designed for a console? The fact that it has terrible RTS mechanics? The fact that it's on a system with a massive selection of great RTSs? The halo name will only carry it so far. Caboose The Ace
halo is Microsoft's biggest exclusive and one of the only reasons to buy a Xbox if Microsoft started putting halo title on the pc well lets just say more PlayStations would be brought so I doubt Microsoft will put halo on the pc
BaconShelf
Would only work on PC with; Stances(follow and attack, never attack, etc) Grouping or 'squads' for quick selection of units Massively increased troop count and buildings/base Many more units Better balancing No rushing. No warthogs, 3 scorpions/Spartans in, elephant with marines... As the PC RTS community frowns upon this. Ability to control base without being at it(training and research)
Forerunner24
Well I think it should be on pc even if y`all think it`s bad at least it will bring some more money and they all ready have halo combat evolved and halo 2 on pc so they have halo on pc and a lot of pc users play rts games so I think i`ts a good idea

Halo wars in it's current state wouldn't sell on PC. Too much work would be needed to bring into PC in a playable format, so much that it would be an entirely different game. It's not worth it.
Teker
Unless many changes were brought to the game, it wouldn't go too far. It would be FAR better unlike what another certain poster says. You can do much more with a PC that you would with a console I would think. Modding would make the game if it would be allowed. Look at how Halo PC has stayed alive for all of these years because of the modding community. It'd be nice not having to buy every ******* thing that adds on to the game like Xbox LIVE. Imagine all the custom maps people could make for the game, it'd be fun I think.
TheGodfatherS117
In my opinion, Halo wars shouldn't be on the pc because there are already a lot of RTS games that are a lot better than Halo Wars ( like Starcraft 2, Age of empires, etc.) .So this game will not be very popular on the PC. GameWylder
May I remind everyone that Halo Wars was originally to be released for PC and Not Xbox; due to the complicated controls they didn't know how to manage at the time. If you look at the beta play tests, they use mouse and key. May I remind everyone that Halo Wars was originally to be released for PC and Not Xbox; due to the complicated controls they didn't know how to manage at the time. If you look at the beta play tests, they use mouse and key. Edit; this is from my memory, and I'm not fully good with memory. But I do remember them saying that it would be released for PC if the control issue was not resolved; which we all know the outcome today. Fact is with the modding community and such, halo wars would quickly become one hell of a great game due to it's art style. I'd love to replace some of the characters with head-crabs from half-life or something, it would be awesome! The thing you guys arn't quite looking at is the potential it would have. You're looking at it ( from what I read ) as it is, but in reality because PC is so much more Open, it would be even better because of the lack on restrictions. This game hands down would end up being amazing on PC. And are we forgetting the story line this delivers? For once we have a Halo Game that doesn't have master chief in it at all, aside from the one mission that has the pillar of Autumn in the cutscene holograph for a few seconds before they warp out. I think this game was well made in terms of story, and general gameplay. Could of been better in terms of game mechanics but I like it. May I remind you Ensemble spent 6 months designing a RTS control scheme for controllers and then Microsoft later approached them asking if they would be interested in developing a Halo RTS for consoles. I would love Halo Wars on PC but in its current state it isnt even a good RTS for the platform. Good for consoles but not PC.
тυcкєя
Halo Wars on PC? That would actually not be awl ful, I never liked playing Halo Wars on Xbox, because I only play stagery games on my lap top. If Halo Wars was on the PC I would probably enjoy it more I think I have more control in stagery games on my computer, rather than on the Xbox, using my controller. Or is that just me? Thank you for bringing this up ! Edited January 9, 2014 by тυ¢кєя
AGAMER01
And exactly why would it be awful? Actually it would not be terrible because people can't always get an Xbox 360. So this would make it possible for people to play a game they love on the go, or anywhere. Give it a try for crying out loud!

So this would make it possible for people to play a game they love on the go, or anywhere. Give it a try for crying out loud! I think it wouldn't be either. Make the mechanics a bit more complex, and better graphics and it should work. I support this idea.
Mothy
I wouldn't mind it. If they add bigger maps, a higher population cap, more units/vehicles, and more character options
