Halo: Mortal Dictata the third book of the Kilo-Five trilogy.

Tor books has announced the third and final installment of the Kilo-Five trilogy, Halo: Mortal Dictata. Karen Traviss the author of the trilogy as well as other sci-fi book such as Star Wars and Gears of War finishes the the Kilo-Five trilogy and will be available January 2014. 

 

"Based on the universe and characters from the multimillion copy selling Xbox video games, Mortal Dictata completes a trilogy set in the Halo universe, and ties into the story of Halo 4, which launched in November 2012"

Why January?! That's far too long to wait!

 

And wuts with the cover? I find it wierd how no one else has noticed a MJOLNIR MK V helm just... Lying there in the middle of a street apart from a creepy little girl.

 

Looks like it has something to do with a Spartan III.

 

NAOMI-whateverservicetag had the MJOLNIR MKV armour on Thursday War; I'm guessing its something to do with her. Technically she has MK VII but nyeh.

I don't find her creepy. But maybe she is going to try to steal some ADAM from the corpse of the dead Spartan Head, and give it to Mr.Bubbles....

It looks interesting but the title sounds too forerunner, if anything the title should compliment the cover, something like "Witness" to symbolize the creepy little sister.
