Hello gentlemen. I'm happy to present my first competitive map on Ravine.
 
I call it Praelium.

This map is asymmetric and can play 2v2 or lower. Being room-based, Praelium has 4 main rooms. These would be Red, Blue, Gold, and Green. Encounters happen everywhere in the map but most of the interesting and fun firefights happen between top Red and top Blue.
 
The middle bridge is the most powerful position in the map. But it is also the most open. So be wary when walking across the bridge.
 
Weapons
 
- Railgun (x1)
- Sniper Rifle (x1)
- Light Rifle (x1)
- Pulse Grenade (x2)
- Frag Grenade (x2)
- Assault Rifle (x1)
- DMR (x1)
- Thruster Pack
 
*Only the Railgun spawns at the start of a match. The rest of the weapons spawn later on.

Another good looking map Zandril! Can I make one suggestion... a great member offers a map marker pack for the community to see where player and weapon spawns are. Major Update

 

- Reforged Gold base. This is because it was sort of cut away from the rest of the map before making it underutilized. Now, Gold is a transition from Red to Blue and is no longer unused.

 

- Removed Dominion railings that were for jumps. Now, the jumps no longer look forced and now appear as if part of the map.

 

- Placed a weak anti respawn zone at Blue. Players were spawning there far too much.

 

- Some aesthetic changes.

 

- Removed the DMR and Shotgun.

 

- Shortened Red hall that leads to the bridge.

 

- Made the map compatible with other gametypes. These would be Extraction, KoTH, and Oddball.

Minor Update

 

- Changed the circular ramps at Gold to curved walls.

- Removed the weak anti respawn zone. It didn't seem to do much for the map.

- Removed some respawn points.

- Cleaned up the map a bit.

- Minor aesthetic changes.

Major Update

 

- Made some changes to Gold. Added an extra route from Blue tunnel to Gold.

 

- Changed the walls of Green.

 

- Spawning has been refined...again.

 

- Map is no longer meant for 4v4. Praelium is now for 1v1 and 2v2 games. This is because the map is under-scaled for 4v4 creating a lot of spawning issues.

 

- Because the map is now for 1v1/2v2, weapons have been replaced. The power weapons are now a Railgun and a Sniper.

 

- A lot of aesthetic changes.

MAP UPDATE

 

- Assault Rifle added to the map.

- 2 Frag Grenades added to the map.

- Only the Railgun spawns at the start of a match. The rest of the weapons spawn later on.

- Thruster Pack added.

- Railgun now has 0 spare clips.

- A LOT of aesthetics added.

- Rock wall that connect Red and Blue has been replaced with a Forerunner door.

- Ramp at Blue tunnel shortened.

- Shmeefs. Can you find them?

- Brace Large walls have been replaced with prettier, cleaner pieces.

- BRs removed.
