FleshBack
Every time I put some music MP3s on my Flash Drive and put it in the Xbox, my 360 doesn't recognize any of the files on the device and says I have no music on their. Anyone know how to fix this?
I_Make_Big_Boom
As far as I know you can only put music on the 360 by use of a CD disc. The 360 rips the music from the CD and you get you're music. It doesn't have to be an actual Album CD from a band. Just look around for a blank CD and put Music on it. The Director
As far as I know you can only put music on the 360 by use of a CD disc. When I tried this, my X-Box 360 recognized the disc and would play the music, but would not download it from the disc. This is what I ended up doing: Needed Items -Some kind of disk -Computer capable of burning disks -Xbox w/ Hard Drive -iTunes (easy to download at itunes.com) 1.) Open up itunes and create a new playlist and name it what ever you'd like. 2.) Drag and drop the music you'd like to burn from your library into the newly created playlist. 3.) Once finished, click on burn disk at the bottom right of itunes. 4.) A screen should pop-up. Make sure Audio CD is checked before continuing. 5.) Put your disk into your computer and press burn. 6.) Once finished put the CD into your Xbox 360 and download the songs onto your hard drive or just play them of the CD.

Maestro
I was able to hook up my iPod and play music off of it with no problem unless it was a protected file bought from the iTunes store. These are often spotted with a little padlock on the corner of the icon or are actually .mp4 files.
