Caboose The Ace
Sony... A bunch of liars... I am so glad I didn't preorder a PS4... Every company has lied to the consumer before in some way and what did you expect most if not all companies would love drm on there games and consoles. But now Sony fanboys can't bash Microsoft for DRM whilst claiming that their favourite console is perfect...

I guess so and if this video is right the decision to put drm on the Xbone or ps4 has cost them dearly.
haloman 2
Every company has lied to the consumer before in some way and what did you expect most if not all companies would love drm on there games and consoles. actually there is one company that is just starting their gaming franchise with the early release game of interstellar marines on steam and they have promised a lot of things and they have kept the promises they could by putting those promises in the game in its updates and haven't lied to the community yet and probably wont for a little while longer while they develop the game. once it is complete though i bet they may lie a little but their motto is "for the love of them game" and actually listen to the community on what the majority want and have said that some of the ideas they might add in or might not depending on the time and how much they implement
Silent Orbis
I just want to put this out for all of you... Microsoft wanted to make a Steam for all of YOU! OPEN YOUR EYES! Microsoft didn't want to randomly stop making discs, because that'd be too much for all of you "sensitive" folks out there to suck in... So obviously the best way to shape gaming into ALL-DIGITAL was to do DRM... And slowly erode discs away. Had you not protested and hated... Then games would be sold bith digitally and physically... Microsoft was going to make a digital version of every game on the DRM condition... They blocked used games to make you used to not being able to trade-in (as it is digitally)... None of you saw this point of view... And I know many still can't grasp this...

The difference with steam compared to this so called Microsoft steam would be ..... 1 more friendly to customers 2 steam has a offline mode 3 the xbl store is to expensive I mean 15 pounds for halo 3 when I can just get it for 2 pounds at my local game store.
haloman 2
well you can still trade games on steam with people or or for other games that are being sold. so i honestly like this in a way. i don't mind having digital games. i just see problems with it. they are easier for people to pirate on the games and make mods and for people to get the games for free in general. its harder on disks to do that. good things i see about the digital copy is that you will never lose the game again unless if you are stupid enough to get it hacked. where as with a disk you can lose the disk itself and not play the game or lose the key (depending on if you are a computer gamer like me) and not be able to reinstall it. last thing about disks is that with those sometimes the game randomly uninstalls. it happens to me all of the time on disks but on digital games i have never had a problem with it except for star wars battle front 2. which used to work and now doesn't on any computer of mine
