Caboose The Ace
As many on this forum know I don't like the Xbone one bit and have decided to get a PlayStation 4 so I calculated with the costs to get one and Christmas coming up I would have enough to get a ps vita and 2 games for it so I must ask would a ps vita worth getting or not. BeckoningZebra1
I personally would not. While the PS Vita is a great device it lacks enough 3rd party titles to ever push it to the next "level." The PS Vita has also dwindled in comparison to Nintendo's 3DS since they both released about a month apart. If you're in the market for mobile gaming I highly recommend a 3DS-esque product, as everyone knows Nintendo has ruled the mobile gaming world for years. (Neglecting products like iPods and cellular devices with downloadable games) The 3DS has a plethora of titles to choose from, along with many neat accessories (specifically the Dual Thumbpad accessory) to enhance your gaming experience. Ghost Pirate
I don't see much future for handhelds like PS Vita or Nintendo's DS family. If you have an Android or iOS device, you can download games in addition to the other functionality you get from the mobile device. I think gaming on smartphones, tablets and similar mobile devices will kill dedicated handehled systems like PS Vita in the not too distant future, so I'd stick with whatever mobile devices you've got for gaming on the go. BeckoningZebra1
I really don't think so Sultan, iOS games just don't give you the same feeling that a hardcore Dedicated gaming platform gives you. I think the mobile gaming market just needs to be tapped by the right dev team and it's back at the top.
Caboose The Ace
The reason I want a vita is because a lot of the time I am on the go to places and I am bored there a lot of the time also don't forget the remote play feature that might add some extra value. Maximum Clutch
For the same price of a Vita, you can get a 3DS and a great game like Pokemon X or Y, or Fire Emblem: Awakening. Awakening wasn't just one of my favorite handheld games, it is one of my favorite games ever. Plus the 3DS (XL) fits perfectly into your hands and is very comfortable to hold. Where as the vita can get pretty uncomfortable to hold. I love my 3DS and play it almost every day.
Ranger Intel
It's your choice but I personally would not. If you definitely don't want to get the Xbox One, I'd just get the PS4. I'm going to get the Xbox One eventually because I'm not leaving Halo. I will definitely not get it on release though.
тυcкєя
I mean it's your choice. The PS Vita looks like a amazing device, like not even kidding. But at the same point it's like cool but not cool. I realize you don't want to get Xbox One, then I would recommend maybe getting the Play Station 4. But you know it's your choice, maybe watch a YouTube video or something and see why the PS Vita is a good thing to buy and a bad thing to not get. Then you can do like a comparison and see if your getting your money's worth. Well good luck to you.

Read a couple of reviews to know more about each console before you decide. You will get a better idea of what to expect.
Jack Of Harts
I have one but I barely use it. The games on it just aren't great. They're nothing special. You can get a lot of great games on Android and iOS that cost a fraction of the price. After all, what makes a game? Fun, right? Mobile games do give you that fun and there are some really good looking ones as well.

I've seen better games on tablets than on the PS Vita, but that's just my opinion.
Caboose The Ace
True. I've seen better games on tablets than on the PS Vita, but that's just my opinion. What about kill zone mercenary and assassins creed liberations there is no way you can get games like that on current tablets and phones. Yeah Assassins Creed Liberations looked kind of awesome even though I have never played. There's one thing they haven't got...Halo Spartan Assault
