A lot of modes disappeared!!! What happened ???

I just back on Halo 4 and saw that a lot of modes are not there anymore (like Dominion...) Does anyone know if they come back again ? We should buy some DLC to have access again ? Or they was delete forever ? Why 343i did that ???

They were removed for many reasons for modes in halo 4 being removed

 

1 The halo 4 community doesn't like a certain game mode and so It is removed

2 Not many people play that game mode 

3 That game mode had been merged with another playlist

 

Most of these playlists that are gone are on rotation.

Yes, some game modes will be returning including Dominion. Every week playlists are rotated by community voting on Halo Waypoint

It really just depends on what gametype it is, but like I said above vote at Halo Waypoint to get the game mode you want.

 

 

Why 343i did that?

Halo 4's online population was being stretched across many playlists and the population (which peaks at about 20k) couldn't support all of the different playlists, so they merged or dropped certain game types.
