Forge Texture Mapping... Why Not?

These are the top five reasons why I believe that 343 Industries and Certain Affinity should implement texture mapping in Halo 5's forge mode.


5. Because the default textures will become boring to look at after awhile.


This is number five because the textures in Halo 5 will look amazing in Halo 5 due to the Xbox One's cloud computing and DirectX Tiled Resources. It is list worthy, though.


4. Because Halo 5 should have more Xbox One utilization.


Along with five, allowing players to go onto a cloud library of textures and select some for their map is just mind-blowing.


3. Because Halo 5 should allow players to handle lighting if the current in-game system goes wrong.


Agreed. Not saying that Halo 5's lighting system will be faulty, but if it is, the option is always nice to our liking.


2. Because every map needs to feel and look different.


This is what people have been asking for, a true simple map editor, and it's about time!


1. Because it will separate the artists from the amateurs.


Take that, you cheap-o's!
