Akali
Respawn Entertainment's Vince Zampella has confirmed the player count for online, multiplayer-only shooter Titanfall. "6v6 is max player count," said Zampella in a tweet. "Turned out to be the best balance with AI for us," the message continued. Another tweet read: "We had it higher at points in testing, this felt best." Zampella also reminded people that there won't just be 12 participants on maps, as the game will also flesh-out the field with AI and that "everyone can have a Titan in follow or guard mode, too." http://www.gameinformer.com/b/news/archive/2014/01/08/respawn-sets-player-numbers-for-titanfall.aspx
ShadowFiend216
I think 6v6 is way too low......
Screech
I think 6v6 is way too low...... Yeah, I think so as well... But Vince and a lot of the other guys at Respawn Entertainment made a lot of good games during their time at Infinityward and I'm pretty sure they know what they're doing. I don't know why they're including so much AI in the multiplayer for Titanfall though... Seems like it would make more sense to cut half of the AI out and make it 8v8 at least.
