crimson map pack is not showing up in my big team menus, downloaded it five hours ago.. not once did it give me the option to play!?

I was just wondering why my crimson maps are not showing up in the menu when playinmg H4.. I downloaded the pack hours ago, and was playing bif team battles constantly till now.. I've read that there has been problems for gamers that had purchased the season pass or owners of the game that included maps.. BUT, I've only downloaded the pack earlier this evening, and not once did the big team  crimson maps show up within the menu.. Is there still a problem, as I feel I've been ripped off! Before posting this, Ive read that others are experiencing the same problem, whilst others are saying that the maps show up all the time.. Would someone please inform me whats going on..Thankyou.. I hope Ive posted this within thre correct  forum, as Ive just registered to ask this question, apologies if I've this within the wrong section..

When playing any gametype in Halo 4, and same goes for Reach. There's a chance that DLC maps will come up in the voting just before the game. They will ONLY appear if ALL players connected have the maps, if at least one player does not, then the maps will not come up to be voted for.
So, it's a game of chance, even if all players have the maps, it may not appear as a voting option.

Also, another thing to consider, is that the download didnt finish correctly and had become corrupted. So check you storage for the DLC, and if you need to, delete, and re-download. 

 

Downloads fail all the time. So before getting mad at the developers for a bug, try those steps first. If you try every thing you can think of, or any other solutions, then try xbox support.

 I rang Xbox support and explained that  Id'e played many games, and not one Crimson map showed up in the menus to vote for..

Whilst on the phone, the guy from Xbox support walked me through a simple step by step way to see if the download content had become  corrupt..

Whilst still on the phone the guy from Xbox support waited to see if the maps showed up.. After starting a few games and quickly leaving them (which obviously I don't usually do) he explained that many individuals have called with concerns about the "Halo 4's Crimson map pack"..

He was kind enough to refunded my money.. He must of been on the phone for about an hour to be honest trying to help, even rang me back at home due to the fact that I initially phoned Xbox support  from my Mothers house..

Anyway, to cut a long story short, personally I would suggest to gamers  "not" to purchase the Crimson maps, just in case..

I've now downloaded  the "Magestic" map pack, and was happily playing the maps for a few hours  earlier this evening..

Also purchased  the "Castle" map pack too
