Popular Post RedStarRocket91
As announced in January's Community Event Calendar, to celebrate the relaunch of our YouTube channel and Facebook page we're giving YOU the opportunity to have your artwork featured as the official cover images for both of these pages! To take part, all you need to do is create an 851x315 image to do with any aspect of the Halo universe, using any tools you wish, and submit it in this thread! In-game screenshots, Photoshop doodles or even 3D modelling tools - as long as it's the right size and submitted in either a .jpg or .png format, it's acceptable. This contest is open to both members AND staff of 343industries.org - so you'll be competing directly against our very own Art Department! If you've ever wanted to have your artwork shown off to hundreds of dedicated Halo fans from all around the globe, this is a fantastic opportunity to do so, and in addition to their art being featured on our social media outlets our winners will also receive a special forum award to show off their art skills. In addition, all entries will be featured in a gallery on our Facebook page. This contest opens right now and will close on Tuesday the 28th of January at 11:59pm EST, and we'll be announcing the winners on Friday the 31st of January.
VinWarrior
I FINALLY DID IT! P.S. It will look a lot sharper when used as the cover, etc. Edited January 22, 2014 by Edward Kenway
Ranger Intel
Not really the best piece of Art, but I thought I'd give it a try. Edited January 22, 2014 by UNSC Spartan-II

MCPO Mayh3m
Entry post has been updated. Also... YOUTUBE DIMENSIONS! Below you can find a cheat sheet for channel art guidelines: Recommended image size: 2120 X 1192 px Desktop max size: 2120 x 350 px Desktop minimum: 1280 x 350 px Tablet size: 1536 X 350 px Mobile size: 1280 X 350 px I would recommend using the Desktop max size: 2120 x 350 px as it will be just the banner and show up nicely. Ranger Intel
I may change the background of my one. It looks really weird with a blank white background. Might just change it to black.
Drizzy_Dan
Wow let me break the chain of awesome banners posted in this thread and say that we should really use all of these for some thing or another because everyone that's submitted something did a really good job.

MCPO Mayh3m
What are you guys using to make these? i wanna try... Especially what are you using Anakin? I am just using an old version of Adobe Photoshop (CS3). It is a little outdated as there are newer versions that many other people use. Most of what I did in my second banner I had to improvise on. This is similar to CS3, but certain features that Adobe has are not available on here. But definitely check it out if you wanna get your feet wet. http://pixlr.com/editor/ Edited January 26, 2014 by Anakin Skywalker

VinWarrior
What are you guys using to make these? i wanna try... Especially what are you using Anakin? Corel PHOTO-PAINT 6. I don't recommend it though, if you're gonna spend money on an art program, get the newer version of Photo-paint, as I'm using an older version, the sixth actually. Quick, edit it before the end date is reached!
Ranger Intel
I re-sized it. This should be better. Edit: Don't think the re-sizing worked. Don't think it will change size here. Worked in pain, saved it as the right size, but when I upload it, it looks the same. Either it's already is the right size or it's not working.
