Velozity
Hey, I'm seeing how writing a book based in the halo universe (duh) goes. On fanfic i noticed the numerous covers people would go through to make seem amazing. I was just wondering if someone would make one for me??? I suck at art. I don't want to sound like an *******. Recommend fanfic link as it's updated with a lot less errors and more vocabulary Thank-you in advance. It's called Halo: Genesis of Faith. That's me best art below http://www.343industries.org/forum/topic/33226-halo-genesis-of-faith/ Edited January 29, 2014 by Azaxx Removed Offsite Link. Halo6 Follower
To be fully honest your art work above is amazing! I think the only thing that it is missing is the ship itself in the background. If you can do that then i think your book title would be better then some of the Halo novels out there... It's also good to see another Australian on these Forums, if you need any help please don't hesitate to ask.
Is not JL
My best suggestion would be to PM those in the art department, and ask them.

Velozity
How bout this one?
Is not JL
Like it better with a guy in front, not silhouetted, considering once silhoutted the context is changed. A blurred out soldier means little with Requiem as its background.
Velozity
How bout this? Maybe a clenaer cover???? Also, if you guys havn't i totally revamped the story adding 300 words n' stuff. And don't forget feedback, i've got none so far so i can't tell if my writings good or not :/
Pbrabbit
Whatever option you choose, your cover is by far very very good.
Surveillance
I'll give you some writing advice. If you want to make a book, you can't have every single line be dialogue, as it was in what you showed us. If you want to write a play, then do that. I am a veteran writer. I have gone through massive storms of put-downs and everything. Books need action outside dialogue, unless you plan to tell the story from the point of view of a bystander who watches the hero do everything and the writes it down, the book being said bystander telling it to another person. Just some advice.
Velozity
@HaloGeek cheers I thought that might be the problem. Thing is all halo novels are third person and I thought I might dabble in that writing technique for consistency, usually I write in first person. In fact if you go to fictionpress and search Crypten youll see my original IP work that's about a year old. Suffers similarly but is more full of detail and reflection and the actual events- unlike this people say it's very good so I thought id put it up. Im already goin through the Genesis anyway,y trying to add more meat to the experience. But I really appreciate the help. One more thing though, was the dialogue interesting or fluid or evben haloish? That's my main problem right now :/
