Last week I asked if you preferred Spartan Ops or Firefight. Many of you voted and made excellent points as to why you prefer one over the other. Well, the results are in: 

Firefight! I personally like both of them and would like to see them combined in Halo 5, rather than be seperate gametypes.

 

This week's question spans throughout every Halo game to date. It's been in every Halo game and I would be shocked to the point if confusion if there was ever a Halo game without them. Here's the question:

 

What is you favorite weapon in Halo?

Sniper Rifle. Run my account on Waypoint from Halos 2 - 4 and you'll see most of my kills are with it. Love blaining.

Energy Sword. An elegant weapon for a more civilized age.

I suppose if I have to choose, it would be the shotgun, regardless of the game. Why? Because it's powerful and it's limited range makes for the need of great skill in a head on head fight.

The Incineration Cannon... there's nothing quite as satisfying as scoring a one-hit kill on those wretched Knights, especially on Midnight!

Energy sword nothing is like creating epic sword battles cutting though Reds or just pretending you are playing star wars.

Gravity hammer, to me there is nothing better than grabbing my trusty hammer and charging into battle to crush my opponents!

Scarab Gun. A more ridiculous weapon for a more MLG age. 

 

Seriously there is nothing better then glitching through Halo 2's campaign to get it. So satisfying. 

 

Can we also pick fan made mod weapons? If so the silenced AR from Halo CE mods. Hehehehehe. (That isn't my actual vote)

Gravity Hammer, honestly, who doesn't love a huge silver spiky stick that destroys things? It is simply one of the best weapons in video game history, hell, it's a staple for Video Game Weapons just as the AR and Energy Sword are!

The DMR. Accurate, but at the same time practical for almost any situation (unlike the sniper rifle), and reasonably powerful. Useful against anything short of a Hunter or armored vehicle. To me it's the perfect general purpose weapon.
