Ok, so maybe it's not humming with energy but just look at that detail!

This energy sword was replicated by Tony Swatton, a Master blacksmith. (In case you didn't notice)

This sword is made of steel and measures in at 2 inches wide, and 39 inches long. The blade had to be heated to 600 degrees Farenheit to achieve that beautiful blue and purple color.

Find out more in his video below:

Meanwhile, thousands of pimply nerds run towards the sword with thousands of there mother's dollars and demand it to be sold, to which the blacksmith stabs them in the eye with a fork.......

......I'm First by the way, so you know that I was going to say something Fu :censored: ed up.

Censorship FTW!

I bet that thing will break against a properly tempered blade. >.<

Looks pretty decent though, just that that bloody thing isn't safe at all, the hilt is surrounded by sharp metal that you can cut yourself with, thus making it a bit silly to be anything but a wall prop.

And plus, you've got your facts wrong or that's just a bad smith.

You harden blades, then temper them (otherwise they're a bit useless).

Heat to 2100 fahrenheit, roughly. Then it is quenched when glowing red.

You'll have a blade that can slash straight through an arm, but it'll be brittle (it'd break, like you're using it against Titans when you're really using it on a plank of wood).

Temper it then by heating to 600 Fahrenheit (roughly), you then let it cool. You'll lose some integrity of the blade, but it won't break even a tenth as easy as it was when just hardened. Tempered blades are the best, just a little less integrity that you'll need for the hardest of objects you want to mess up, but your blade will survive for years instead of days.
