VinWarrior
Xbox's Vice President in the European Regions, Chris Lewis, is leaving Microsoft. Chris Lewis, you might recognize the name, was a twenty-five year veteran of Microsoft Studios. Considered the leader of Xbox's sale marketing in Europe, Chris gained a name for himself in the gaming world. He recently announced, according to an article from MCVUK.com, that he would be packing his bags and leaving the company to look for better opportunities. The CVP of Microsoft's Devices and Studios Marketing Group had this to say about Chirs: “Following that success, Chris has now chosen to retire from Microsoft and focus on his other business and personal interests. We wish Chris nothing but the best, and we thank him for everything he’s contributed to Xbox and Microsoft as a whole over the past 25 years.” Do you believe this could hurt Microsoft's sales in Europe in the long run with Chris gone? Buns
Microsoft needs to improve their sales all around the world. I feel as if Europe is mostly dominated by PS4s anyway.
Yoshi1176
All of the big wigs leaving from Microsoft is hurting. People see that they are abandoning ship A.K.A Xbox which may show us some insight into the future of Xbox. I am a fan of Xbox and I haven't owned a Sony device since I was seven. I don't think him leaving will hurt as much as if more people began to leave. If more people leave its kind of like them saying they give up. And rather then go down with the boat they are smart and are looking for new things to get rich of of.
Drizzy_Dan
For better options? Doesn't he have enough to retire now? I'm trying to think of where he'd go from Microsoft EU?
Caboose The Ace
If I am honest right now I think it is a good thing time to get some fresh blood in there ! The XB1 Ads in Europe and cheesy and really plain stupid so I guess we could have some better Ads as most of them just revolve around someone watching TV and playing a game at the same time...... hardly enough to convince someone to buy it if they don't care about the TV thing at all and just want to play games and so will go for the cheaper option of the PS4 that is even getting a price drop.
