Alec Mueller
I have been playing Halo since Halo 1 first came out, and, when Halo 3 allowed us to make our own games, that was what made the Halo series unlike any other game on the Xbox. A way to utilize our imagination and continue making up new arenas and games to share with our friends and anyone else looking to experiment with new ideas. Ever since Halo 3, the custom games became buggy and were changed in ways that made some games impossible to setup. For example: Duck Hunt and Ice Cream man game types required the one infected player to have only one life just like the rest of the players. However, when the gametype was played, killing the infected failed to end the match. Leaving the surviving spartans roaming around the map until they suicided to end the match. We got used to this, but it gets really old when it occurred in both Halo Reach and Halo 4. Another annoyance was that in Halo 4, we lost the ability to put our own weapon spawns on Infection maps. So game types like Fat Man required full usage of starter weapons and lots of turrets. The turrets are a bit too strong compared to using a variety of weapons, so having the old weapon spawns back would be nice. There used to be a VIP game in which one team is up in Skybox of Sandbox in Halo 3 with snipers and Spartan Lasers that had to "snipe" the enemy team's VIP who was on foot or mongoose down on the main battle field that was modestly covered, but had windows of opportunity to shoot the VIP. Just please consider this when setting up future Halo's!
Shun 'Kanamee
I have another idea if they haven't made this yet. Custom weapon lists where you choose what weapons are on the map.
