[For 343i] Can you make a Halo: Custom Edition 2?

Hello, me and some of the members in the Halo Custom Edition community, were wondering if there would ever be a Halo: Custom Edition 2 game for the PC. Halo Custom Edition is a great game, and we want to see it continue to thrive in a 2nd edition, perhaps with some of the following features:

 

-New Engine, more possibilities with making custom content.

-Co-Op features for user-created maps.

-New HEK (Halo Editing Kit)

-In-game editing, complete with scenery placement, AI, Objects/Vehicles/Weapon placement, scripting, and weather particles.

-Zombies mode, it's quite popular on Halo 1 for the PC still, and we'd love to create some amazing gameplay maps with that feature.

-Updated graphics.

-Role Play maps, with multiplayer NPC's and interactive AI, that sync's over multiplayer, (same with Co-Op)

-Bigger map size limits

-More people interested in Halo: Custom Edition!

 

IF this would actually be considered for a future game, would you guys even be interested in doing this?

 

If this happened, there would be an uproar in the Halo Community and it would get more people interested in game development, while creating amazing maps with more possibilities for the game, and the community. I know this is a long shot, but we just wanted to ask. We wanted to know if it would be a possibility for a future game.

I doubt this will happen and i doubt it will have much of an effect on the halo community, since we need new games, not recreated ones (Aside From Halo 2)

 

Also, we are the community forum, we have no kind of influence over what games 343i make.

Yeah this is pretty much it, we need new games to be released, a PC game won't help that much and it doesn't have the type of demand that other games would have.

A second CE would be unnecessary anyway. Not many Halo fans would crave it. People still enjoy normal Custom Edition anyway. As we speak there is still content being created for it anyway. If it were to release, not many would play it, as we needs ACTUAL Halo games to release. Not an indie-sandbox/multiplayer only game.

 

We need actual Halo games, not small ones that no one would play, knowing that the normal CE is still immensely populated and played since its release.
