Ubisoft developer of the highly anticipated game Watch dogs finally showed us more details on the games seamless muilplayer content. 
 
 
The gameplay demo showed off 3 modes from the game.
 
 
1 The first is a Assassins creed muilplayer cat and mouse game mode where one player hacks a player while the other attempts to find the hacker.
 
2  In the second mode the player attempts to drive through checkpoints before time runs out while another playing using the free Ctos app for IOS and Android uses hackable items to attempt to stop the player from passing though the checkpoints.
 
3 The third and final mode showed off in the demo called comptive decryption combat tasks 2 Teams with retrieving a file and then holding out long enough to decrypt the file.
 
All of this can happen seamlessly in the world one moment you could be walking down the street and then the next you could be looking for a hacker in the same world seamlessly. But the player can choose if they want multiplayer on or off.

They can't exactly say groundbreaking multiplayer as, like you said, they are using the same "cat and mouse" type multiplayer gameplay. However, the other two gametypes are interesting. But I think that it will just become a Vehicle against Vehicle multiplayer like most games with vehicles become (BF, Halo, etc)

Aside from Destiny, I'm really looking forward to this game! This has been one game that I've really been hoping is the type of game that could achieve game of the year. I want it to be that good.
