Rockstar will release a next gen game this year or the next.

Rockstar states they have a little sumthin' sumthin' in store for us for next-gen.

 

 

Strauss Zelnik, CEO of Take-Two, has stated that Rockstar will release a game for the next-gen consoles.

This game will probably release somewhere between June 2014 and May 2015.

 

As we all know Rockstar takes their sweet time on creating games and it will be interesting to see what they will come up with.

Maybe GTA V for the next-gen consoles? Or maybe another Red Dead title?

 

Rockstar has been working on another Red Dead title since the end of last year, so it seems likely that this will be the game they're talking about.

But we'll just have to wait and see in the meantime.

 

Which one are you hoping for? GTA V for the next-gen consoles? Or a new Red Dead title?

I've been wanting GTA V on the XB1 since I got the console in December but I'm starting to lose faith in them porting it every day that passes by... Hopefully they do it for the game's 1 year anniversary or something later this year? There's no way this is gonna be a new Midnight Club.

I find the western story of John Marston and Bonnie

McFarlaine much more interesting, so for me I'm

going to have to say Red Dead Redemption! I think

I would hope it is Red dead 3  that would be awesome, Red dead redemption is one of my favourite games of all time. But I would guess it will be GTA 5 for current gen consoles.

Red Dead Redemption 2 you mean right? RDR didn't have a sequel.

 

This does sound like good News P34nut, I want another L.A. Noire or RDR, but I'm awesome with GTA V on Next Gen too. Great Work.

The Red Dead series has two titles to date. The first ever game was called Red Dead Revolver. Kinda unknown to most people but I think you can still download it from XBL. The second one is Red Dead Redemption, making the next title the third in the series.

Just did a quick google and you are actually right, I hadn't known this before! Thanks!

 

Still, a sequel would likely be called Red Dead Redemption 2, as it wouldn't go like:

 

1. Red Dead Revolver
2. Red Dead Redemption
3. Red Dead Redemption 3

Doesn't seem right.

Or just Red Dead [insert word here].

Making a sequel to Redemption wouldn't make sense as the story finished with John Marshton.

However the main character from Red Dead Revolver was a family member of John so they might do something similair with the main character of the next game.

Maybe even the son you play as later in Redemption.

would hope it is Red dead    3 that would be awesome < I am leaving a space there because I know there has been 2 red dead games already and there is always a different title after  the dead line.
