Today Deep Silver formally announced Metro Redux, a collection containing an upgraded version of the classic Metro: 2033, and the recent blockbuster Metro: Last Light.

Metro Redux's details have been revealed today, according to GameInformer.com, the game will receive the standard Next Gen make-over, 60 Frames per Second, and 1080p HD on all three platforms. Metro: 2033 will be upgraded massively, receiving an engine  overhaul on an entirely new one, AI advancement, and implementation of the Mask Wipe mechanic and animation, as well as texture upgrades for both games. As well, the fan requested additions of being able to observe the player's watch and check inventory. A digital release will be available this summer for $24 each on the Xbox Live Store, PSN, and Steam, with full retail releases side-by-side with the downloads.

I've always been semi-interested in the Metro games, but never enough to actually buy them. I may pick this up when it goes on sale and give them a go. My computer can run them no problem, but I won't be seeing any of those updated graphics.

Yeah I played and beat Last Light, and it was pretty dang good.

My cousin had 2033, and it was pretty damn scary. Kinda bums me out that LL wasn't as scary, but what can you do.

Idk might pick this up if I can. I warn you people though: 2033 is freaking long as hell. LL had allot of missions too, but not as much as 2033.
