Akali Posted May 26, 2014 Report Share Posted May 26, 2014 (edited) The Halo 5 developers are saying that the new rumours and video leak are 'annoying' and they say that this could get someone fired over for releasing early footage of the game. The release was found on a forum called NeoGaf who released some information on Assassin's Creed 5 which when they first came out, people didn't believe what they put up but overtime they were proven correct. Frank O’Connor complained to NeoGaf about the leaked information which is effecting his business. This is what he has to say. “Breaking embargos is not prophecy. Nor does it require any particular skill or insight. Ultimately he is taking or being given information and leaking it, illegally and often erroneously. And he isn’t doing it for some noble or worthy reason. He’s doing it for attention. People, including nice people with kids and families and stuff, work super hard on this stuff and wake up in the morning to find some of their effort blown up. It’s not fun, and for what? So you can have a mildly interesting surprise 8 hours early and lacking context? Or get hyped or disappointed disproportionately? Or get someone fired or someone innocent yelled at? Ok. But it isn’t prophecy, nor ultimately even important. It’s annoying.” They also released some information which was a prediction to the release date to Halo 5 is somewhere in 2015 but 343 won't tell us when Halo 5 will hit the shelves. They have also said that the female in the art is NOT Palmer and it is not a girl. Guesses of it being Cortana have also been shot down according to a tweet that Rob Semsey made. Some other leaks about Halo is that the U.S Army are making a new helmet design which resembles an ODST helmet but also Master Chief's helmet, the Halo TV series which we haven't heard anything about for a while started life as 'Fan fiction' written as a Halo movie script. Unfortunately all of the rumours regarding Halo 5: Guardians have destroyed any chance of 343 releasing episodic gaming and the Halo TV series however, some people still believe that Halo Spartan Ops Season 2 could be combined with the Halo TV series. Makes no sense, when it keeps fans on the edge of their seats, wondering whats to come in the game, making them want to buy the game. Did you even read what Frank said?
