So according to OXM here are the 106! maps listed so far.  It still has 3 unannounced "reimagined" maps for H2A.  What do you guys think of the list and which maps are you looking forward to the most?

I doubt you'll be playing the same map over and over again too many times. You'd think each time the voting menu pops up it would always be three new maps.

I really hope they eventually add a stand alone matchmaking hopper for each game, so you don't always have to play a different game each time you go into matchmaking. Part of what makes Halo so satisfying is mastering it. Each game is a drastic enough change from each iteration that switching to each game would be extremely jarring and probably annoying...

 

I remember when I was still in love with Halo 2 and then jumping to Halo 3 was awful. I would suck for the first 30 minutes at least because you had to lead your BR shots, you had to aim more for the neck area, and you could no longer "swipe shot" the sniper as easily as you could in Halo 2. Halo 3 felt slower and heavier while Halo 2 felt more fast paced.

 

Imagine jumping in playing Blood Gulch in Halo CE and then playing a Team Slayer game in Halo 4. I honestly would hate it so much.

 

Lets hope there are easy ways to find custom games, like a server browser, so we don't have to be locked into that one matchmaking system...
