bam920 Posted June 17, 2014 Report Share Posted June 17, 2014 i wanna see AI players as an option added to multilayer. kind of a merger between multilayer and firefight. add marines, ODSTs, Spartans, elites, jackals, grunts, brutes, hunters, maybe even the Prometheans as AI players you can turn on in multilayer games. also add forge to this so you can place re-spawn points for different enemy types, and even drop zones for AI players and completely forge the maps. would also be cool to play as elite, Promethean or spartan especially with the AI players. you could play a map as an elite running side by side with grunts, jackals, and hunters against UNSC forces on multilayer, or single player firefight. also have this available on other game types like CTF but AI players are only support and dont actually pick up the flag or anything. 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Cryengine 3 stands in a league of it's own. Blam! Just wasn't built nor designed to allow that kind of workflow. Albeit you could add AI to any map yes, but it would lack anything it needs to fully interact with the map.environment, and it would require giving players the ability to eun in SP engine mode to utilize the AI properly. I think it would be awesome if certain AI had certain jobs you could program into them in Forge so they don't mindlessly fight. An example could be, a turret operator will most likely stay and guard the base on a turret or will get on the back of a warthog, or a you could program a guards patrol path to make some awesome stealth missions! Medics would be towards the back of the squad but will step up to aid the wounded, or infantry will relentlessly engage the enemy. This way you could have marines/ODSTs/Spartans/grunts/brutes/elites/etc. that are more suitable for protecting a base, operating vehicles, or fighting on the frontlines, making the battles interesting and tense. Now, they need to change the marines back to actually looking like marines like they did in Halo 3 or Reach, and not like over payed hockey players. Ever since reaach I've been wanting this in halo. They already have a Ai script so it's not that hard. Plus unlike far cry 3 it's not a multiplat (unfortunately) so they could focus on more stuff. Let us add Ai , from unsc to covvies and insurrectionist.( also make an odst vs insurrection mode, no energy shields no abilities just 2 highly skilled humans fighting each other. ) give us options to set all ai sides difficult level from easy(stupid) to legandary (teamwork is required) give us scrips to customize their movements and actions for machinima and custom mittion purposes. Ash Posted December 24, 2014 Report Share Posted December 24, 2014 I feel like forgeable FireFight wouldn't be too difficult, considering they could just add zones where the AI won't go, thus being able to keep them on your map. While environment interaction would be cool, 90% of the time the AI in ODST/Reach just run at you anyways (Except Wraiths/ghosts and some snipers) And based on what Twin said, even if they do add it, it wouldn't be really in depth at all. If they could fix the lag issues in forge so you could use all the pieces we could make our own campain levels complete with rounds and ever changing terrain layouts.
