CUBA x STEVEN
Halo Wars was a very well made game but no game is perfect and could use improvement, I think for Halo Wars 2 they could and should make some improvements like, make the wraiths more faster and more powerful because barely any high ranking players make wraiths anymore because they die a lot easier than tanks, also I would like if they made 4v4 possible it will require huge maps but it's possible. I could write a whole essay on this topic but what improvements do you guys think Halo Wars 2 should have?
Vaulting♥Frog
Well to start with they could put it on PC and have actual RTS features in the game instead of the stuff they put out on the original game....
VinWarrior
I think my main problem with the game was its linearity and little variety, each experience felt the same. More customization and a more cinematic and interactive experience is needed I feel. The campaign was good, but had the same problems to it.
rrhuntington
Being able to move base locations would be great, along with a lot more variation in gameplay.

In order to do that you need the amount of control options a PC can give you. It wasn't the power of the X1 that is the issue its the lack of Keyboard and Mouse. Halo Wars is a fanastical console RTS and still the best one out there for not only the amount of content it had but the simple control scheme it came with. Plus please elaborate on "more customization and a more cinematic" experience. Most RTS games don't have customization to begin with. You pick a faction you have access to a unit pool and tech tree and thats usually it.
rrhuntington
Why do people seem to forget C&C Red Alert 3 was on Console as well? To add to my last post, I would also like more freedom. Halo Wars always made me feel like I was trapped in a box when fighting my opponent(s). I'd just like more space and freedom.
Ranger Intel
I would love to see Space Combat. It would also be interesting to see what new units they can add in and how everything would work. It'll be great to see more of the story as well. More bad*ss Spartan vs Elite scenes, depending on when it's set. But I'd put space battles near the top of my list. Possibly try something new with the ranking system as well and have new enemy A.I.s instead of always Rebels or Flood. Add some new characters to command your Military with.
Vaulting♥Frog
@rrhuntington I do know that C&C had some of their games over on the console as well as other series trying their hand at RTS console games. Unfortunately none were well received as the controls just don't operate correctly on a console. The console controller just isn't built for the micromanagement used in RTS games. Even the custom interface that was developed for Halo Wars fell far short of what an RTS can, and should, be able to do. As an RTS it is ok for being an intro simply because it has some very basic features of RTS games in it. However, Halo Wars falls short in comparison to PC RTS games. The lack of fine unit controls, fixed locations for bases... I don't really want to go on but I could. Keep in mind, I find Halo Wars the best RTS on a console to date, but that isn't saying much when you look at its competition. If they were to do another RTS Halo game then it really should be designed for PC as it would create a far more usable interface and open the game up to far better possibilities.
Golaga
Which company do you think could do such a great job as Ensemble?
Ranger Intel
Which company do you think could do such a great job as Ensemble? Many others. True, Ensemble Studios did great and pulled of something really unique, but another company that's more capable can look back at Halo Wars and make it even better. Lets just hope they don't mess it up whilst trying to do so.
StrangelyTrue
Simply put I think you should add more races like the flood or the forerunners as a playable race for dlc or included don't matter you don't want to try to hard on the whole res goes for and such you don't want to copy star wars battlefront version for. The psp I loved halo wars that is still my favorite game and the best strategy game out so far in my opinion.i loved the game and would like to see a halo wars 2 so very much so but for now I'll keep playing halo wars 1 until it's release-thank you 343 industries
JackofAllWeapons
Awesome comments! Especially to you, The Ghost of rrhuntington and CUBA x STEVEN. Hey Shinya, the ranking system and new enemy AI ideas sound great.
