Like the only reason I'm getting an xbox one is to get the halo master chief collection and halo 5 lol, and the floods awesome but we haven't seen them in like the last 3 games so I was just wondering if there was any word on whether or not they would be in halo 5. There are some hints of their return such as the latest Halo Comic having a flood infection form aboard the Spirit of Fire. (UNSC SHIP) The Halo:Nightfall series also has a strong flood feel to it, but until we actually watch it, we will not know whether they have a presence in the future or not. Like maybe there could be another flood game mode in halo 5 where you can actually earn new flood arms and use it when you are infected. It would also be cool to see a flood firefight. I saw I can download it for only $10 on the xbox games store thing, so if it's cool I'll definatly get it, but like what do you do in it? I have not heard good things about it however. If you've ever played Dead ops arcade in Black ops it is like that. They are the ultimate threat to all life in the galaxy, and since the Covenant disbanded, no force is near as large. In Halo 5, I imagine the primary antagonists being the Ur-Didact's Promethians (again). Perhaps even Insurrectionists or Covie separatists; anything is possible. Jon7088 Posted August 3, 2014 Author Report Share Posted August 3, 2014 I mean come on the games named halo, which is named from the halo rings, which were created for the sole purpose of killing the flood, so it's seriously about time we got a new halo with flood in it, and I mean a lot of flood. Like I'm talking flood firefights, flood forge maps, flood multiplayer with different types of flood armor to unlock, and of course a flood campaign. We need more with the grave mind, we just kinda forgot about him after halo 3 and hasn't heard anything from him since.
