xRyanNitro Posted September 7, 2014 Report Share Posted September 7, 2014 So the servers have gone down and now apparently they're back up. Everyone has their spartan back but me. Still says I'm a recruit. While the servers were down every once and a while I would start up Reach then go to the dashboard and wait some more. Then when you were able to play games I played 1 game and quit early to see if it'd fix it, which it didn't. I've also bought 1 chest while the servers were up. Can anyone help? Buns Posted September 7, 2014 Report Share Posted September 7, 2014 We are not 343i and 343i hasn't commented on the issue as far as I am aware. Just be patient and wait a day or two. That being said, here's the scuttlebutt (rumors) floating around. 343i recently did a massive update to Halo Waypoint and implemented some new features and took down the mobile apps. Right after they did that, Halo Waypoint stopped recording new games played on Halo Reach. Rumors say that the new update they did caused Waypoint to stop gathering new games for Halo Reach, making it to where stats were no longer displaying properly. Rumors also say that the recent server outage for Reach was part of a troubleshooting process to correct this earlier problem. So, according to rumor, they are working on it. Warlord0520 Posted September 8, 2014 Report Share Posted September 8, 2014 someone tripped over a plug somehwere in 343i buidling that caused the server to go offline, this causing great turmoil bewtween many players (roughly 20,000) on halo reach. These devastated players were dealing with a very gruesome fate of having to stick with the ol' noble 6 spartan armor, 7th column player emblem, and the recruit rank while not displaying armor effects due to reach being offline.
