Connor Kenway
Hey guys, Mojang has been sold to Microsoft for 2.5 Billion this means MS has Minecraft, Notch is also leaving Mojang. Mojang Spokesman Owen Hill said the game will be unaffected. Hill also said the pressure of running the company became too much for Notch, Carl Manneh and Jakob Porser all 3 are leaving Mojang. Oh and don't worry those of you who play Minecraft on a non Microsoft platform will be fine Minecraft will stay on PS Android etc. What do you think of MS having another Gaming studio? let me know below Source: http://www.theguardian.com/technology/2014/sep/15/microsoft-buys-minecraft-creator-mojang-for-25bn Edited September 15, 2014 by Mereel

Caboose The Ace
Honestly this could only be a good thing. Ms is not stupid enough to go.... screw Ps, Android and all the other phones, Minecraft we be exclusive to windows phones and Xboxs. They would have a massive backlash and reverse it at some point, and they lose a ton of profit. Hopefull all Ms will do is pour more money into it so updates come out faster etc Give it more refinement.

BeckoningZebra1
I'm curious to see how Microsoft will try to expand upon Minecraft's success- a lot of potential paths to take. Good buisness move by Microsoft, can't wait to see what they have in store for us. Nice article

Silent Orbis
Sure, us PS4 gamers keep Minecraft... But the first step will be making it available on the official Windows app store. Then, Microsoft will put a slogan similar to how Destiny is with PS4, "The Best Experience Only on Xbox One". Special DLC for Xbox gamers, and definitely more updates, better blocks, better technical fluidity... While we, the PlayStation Nation drown in the same blocks that've been available ever since launch.
Pbrabbit
Eh. Notch leaving Mojang in my opinion is the end of an era with Minecraft. I just hope ms doesn't mess it up at all.
Ranger Intel
I stopped playing Minecraft a year or two ago, but I really enjoyed back then. Microsoft buying Minecraft is something I never thought I'd see before, but knowing Microsoft, that was kind of expected. I think that's a good idea, they made a clever decision. None of this really bothers me, but I'm curious to see if they'll do anything different with the game.
