Bubonic Blood
This was a project that was started back before 06, apparently microsoft canceled it. Why? Why does microsoft cancel everything halo related even if it is made by the halo fans themselves? The reason I ask this is because I plan on making a halo style video game with the source engine but I do not want to get sued or have it canceled, even if the game I am making will be free to download. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xPlbEB2KCqc&feature=feedf
o0MrCheesy0o
http://www.joystiq.com/2006/09/13/ms-shuts-down-halogen-mod-why-now/ ^ that might shed some light on things for ya. Besides, we got Halo Wars instead... I still can't get over how bad the name "Halo Wars" sounds. It's just so generic.

Bubonic Blood
jow have I missed that, excuse my language but that looks f**king brilliant. I know right! It looks ten times better than halo wars and was being made before the release of halo 3! But yea, I'm in the middle of a halo pc game, made with the source engine. SuperIntendant
Why would they cancel that?!?!?! Copyright issues most likely, if they were going to charge money for it than they would have to get permission from Microsoft, which would never have happend.
