Spectral Jester
We now know that the Call of Duty Elite service will feature payment plans via the Xbox dashboard. The paid service, which includes free DLC, eight times the file sharing storage as the free version, and daily tournaments where they can win real-world and virtual prizes, will cost $49.99 per year. Alternately, you can pay 4000 Microsoft Points, or purchase the Hardened edition of Modern Warfare 3 which will include a free 1 year subscription to the Elite service. Specops0980
and they say call of duty is way better than halo, also think about this, in terms of DLC, you end up spending more money on DLC for CoD han the accutal game, and now this, Call of Duty never had an original idea, and now they have a "new" way for them to get more money, dont fall for it, your better off buying a year of live or 4000 points for other games
SuperIntendant
/sigh... the sad thing is that someone will pay for this. Not just someone, probably about 60% of people who play COD will pay for this. Activision will make millions by scalping people and no one who pays for elite will even realize that they are being robed...

TheDeadly
Wow, that is sad, CoD just went down the drain for me.
iTz KeeFy
This is definitely their way of exploiting all the little kids that play cod games. No one that understands the value of a dollar would do this. I hope not anyway. This elite service is laughable lol

Renegade185
HAHAHAHA THEY HAD TO GO THIS LOW SO THEY CAN MAKE MONEY WHAT A JOKE, THEIR SALES RATES WERE LOWER THEN I THOUGHT. Actually, they did well. MW3 made $775 million in it's first 5 days. "Life-to-date retail sales for the Call of Duty franchise have exceeded $6 billion worldwide, which makes Call of Duty one of the most valuable entertainment properties in the world. We expect continued sales momentum, as reviews and audience enthusiasm suggest that this is the best Call of Duty game that we have ever made."( Source: http://www.themodernwarfare3.com/)
Mr. Welldone
Eh, to me, it's a waste of money since I hardly play MW3.

Second how is that relevant to OP...
