Even though everyone hated Reach, what did you do? Expand upon it's broken, arcade style multiplayer system. The story was great, in many people's eyes, even mine, but any side of competitive multiplayer that Halo had left, you torched it. You made Call of Duty: Halo Edition and lets be completely honest, it failed. It didn't fail because a new studio was under the helm. It failed because we already have a new Call of Duty title every 10 months. We don't need one with space marines who jump high. Then, after the failure, everyone wondered what you were gonna do next. We said, "Maybe they'll turn the ship around" and we had very high hopes for Halo's future. One amazing day, you announced Halo: MCC. You took all the successful Halo titles, your very par title, and packaged them into one single disc bundle with promises of a true competitive eSports title. Amazing. Every pro or am gamer who wasn't a PC purist was excited. "Console returning to pro gaming?! NO WAY!!!" They were right. No way. You took a simple reskin job. Yes, the visuals are beautiful and when the game runs, it is smooth as butter. But when the game works about 2.3% of the time? Is that worth $60 to countless disappointed people? Is that worth organizations throwing money into compiling teams for your "HCS"? We put all our trust and hopes in you and you let every. single. one. of us down. Good job 343 Industries. You ruined the greatest thing to happen to competitive console gaming. You might have actually killed it for good. You have scared away any company who might have had a chance to bring a competitive eSports title to a console again. I for one, want my $60 back. That won't happen though because I was so excited for your broken game (that's not even a new game, just a reskin and compile job) that I opened the plastic. Maybe I can get $25 bucks for it by selling it to someone else, but honestly, I'd feel like a terrible person for selling such a steaming pile of feces to another human being. So please, 343, give us our moneys back, even if it means a recall. Then, if you want to come back later, do an alpha test and a beta test. But if this is all Microsoft's fault because they rushed you, then re-establish your company elsewhere and forward our hate to them. Do you also buy damaged clothes in a store and be okay with it? If you gonna release a broken game you dont have the right to say that the people whom complain are wrong, they just shouldnt had overrushed this game, cuz they destroyed my high hopes for this. Even if I wanna play big team battles it forces me too play that crap halo 4 mp cuz every ******* morron likes it for some reason while I want to play the previous ones in big team battle but it doesnt give me the option cuz you can only play that game type on a various mix of maps of various halo games and that sucks... even whats up with custom games? We waited just fine until November 11, 2014, when the game released to the masses. Nowhere did I see on the packaging, disc itself, or UI that it was an Alpha or Beta phase, yet it's more broken than several Alpha builds that I've seen. Just another money grab by Microsoft Studios and 343. It was a success and they didn't even give us a working product this time. @elitedennis1993 < This guy understands. @James Avery < This guy obviously doesn't know the value of a dollar. @TheDMinion8 < Umm I pretty much HAVE to play a different game and that is just wrong on so many ethical levels. When your most recent update dropped at 12.15am last night (GMT time) as I'm from England, I managed to get 4 games straight, no problems. Since then all I get is "searching for players..." I have not managed to get one game since! I'm disgusted and I'm sure very many other people are too. This has been two weeks now since this game was released and the most recent update has not appeared in my view, to of fixed anything! From a massive Halo fan, I am very, very disappointed. BUT understand that such a game like MCC is bound to be full of glitches, bugs and broken content due to the massive undertaking of the project. I'm not saying that everyone has no reason to be mad, I'm just sayin that you all cried for what you wanted, and you got it, so suck it up! To recap, you got 4 games, tossed into a universal UI manimenu in which megaloscript is calling not 1, not 2, not 3, not 4......but 5 engines at once!!! Well not at once, but it is executing 3 engines NOT DESIGNED FOR XB1 compatability!!! Halo CEA through 3 require console side emulation in order for the original engines to be launched. Do you have any idea how much rigging it must of took to do that? Probably not, because all I hear is whining little brats who just cry about issues, but know nothing about those issues and just cry foul about how they need to be fixed. If you think it's so easy to do, fix it yourself! Me? yeah I can cry fowl, cause I know how the engine works, tag relationships, dependencies, XEX launching and Megolscript and the Blam! network model. If I wanna cry about it I can, I've earned that right, cause I know whats going on. You? You have not. So please take your cry baby complaints where they need to go, over to HaloWayPoint.com. Which is essentially what 343i is doing with updates for MCC. So. Logically, wait. The game will be A-OK eventually. You aren't entitled to anything. Thatguy32198 Posted November 22, 2014 Report Share Posted November 22, 2014 I think the ideal of the MCC was absolutely phenomenal and could've been great, still can, it's just frustrating that in order for it to be great, we must wait for God knows how many 1Gb+ updates that may or may not truly solve the issue. When matchmaking works and when the campaign missions don't glitch out, the game really is wonderful. 343 has obviously put alot of work into this game, it just wasnt quite ready for release.
