343, us halo players, are just that... HALO players. We don't want a game like call of duty or any other game like that. We want to play halo. We don't want to sprint, have loadouts or any of that. We want our four shot back. We don't want people to die in split seconds, we want to have to earn that kill. Please, for the sake of the entire halo franchise, with halo 5, head back towards halo 2 and 3! People stopped playing halo because it stopped BEING halo. I'm afraid if you keep going the direction you guys are going, no one, pro's or amateurs, are gonna play halo 5.

Why do people keep insisting on having a Halo 2.5/3.5? That's called copy/pasting and that's what CoD actually does.

In order for a fun game 343i has to move forward instead of pumping out the same thing over and over again.

And let's not forget that both Halo 2 and Halo 3 had major problems that are often looked over or hidden away behind nostalgia. BxR for example over the years has been turned into more of a feature because of nostalgia but was actually a major flaw in the game. Not to forget the most rediculous spawns ever. Me and RSR were playing some games and spawned right beside eachother while we were playing a 1v1. I actually spawned into enemy BR fire, me screen was still black and I already got hit!

Halo 3 hadn't much better spawns either and we shall not even speak of the host advantage and lag.

What 343i is doing is progressing the franchise instead of clinging onto the lucky formula that Bungie created. Learn to handle it.

PS:

4 shotting is still a thing!

I was always telling people that CoD is copying others and they kept arguing and spitting on me.

Funny children...weird children.

Nobody is copying anyone here.

Call of Duty was simply happened to be the first that implemented some things that are quite common. And it worked quite well.

Funny thing is that Bungie was actually planning to implement loadouts in Halo 2 but couldn't because they bum rushed it so hard. Wonder how people would look at loadouts in Halo 2 now if were to be implemented...

Oh please you forgot this line, make up your final decision already :P

Anways, you're totally correct by saying about copying.....because it actually does do that :D

What I mkeant by that line is that CoD hasn't really changed their game that much before Advanced Warfare, thus copy/pasting their own game. -_-

About the copying from other games, each game implements features that might be similair to other games, but they all have their own unique twist.

I don't have anything against CoD,or even hate (no way) but they were never original.Maybe in first trilogy (1,2 & 3 - in that case I really loved those times) but not in later games. You cannot say that game has its own unique identity.Even now I can say Halo, for an example, has similarity with other games. But don't please,CoD was never original game. From nice war fps game they came to zombies,oh come on. :)

"We don't want to sprint, have loadouts or any of that."

That's a common misconception. A lot of people, and not just on this site, do not mind sprint. Loadouts are topic for discussion, but it seems the community has said it's piece on that and it's out.

"We want our four shot back."

It's still there.

"We don't want people to die in split seconds"

They don't, unless because a power weapon completely destroyed them or they rush out into the open like idiots.

"We want to have to earn that kill"

How did you not earn it? Whoever gets the kill shot earned it.

If this is in regards to Halo 5, reserve your judgments until you play it. You can never pick up what a game feels like through watching a video. Don't tell me it's not Halo until your own hands hold the controller and tell me so. Then I will listen.

Oh yes I totally agree with you.I can't understan people who watch some ordinary 10 min youtube gameplays and they decided just like that to say it's not perfect or not even good.Befor I bought my xbox 360 (thanks to my mom,it was BD gift) I watched on youtube all Halo campaign gameplays with cutscenes. While watching I was always really sad and happy at same moment.Sad because I couldn't play those masterpieces, but happy because I'm really huge Halo fan.And...............finally,brand new xbox 360 E Slim including 2 bundle copies, where one of them is,guess?Nothing else but Halo4! <3

When I started holding 360 controller for the first time in my life,I was like ''Oh my God,can't believe!!!''

After I started playing Halo 4 I cannot tell you all emotions I was going through, but surely I can tell that my face was soaked with tears of happiness.I was crying, screaming and jumping like little child. That's what it means when you touch & hold a controller with your own hands and start playing it right infront of your eyes.
