MadMax383
Here is an interesting thread i've found in the MLG Forums. Its definitely worth reading and you will learn alot from it. In my opinion we could take that as an inspiration to add a more competitive feel to Halo. What do you think ? http://forums.majorl...ke-a-halo-game/
o0MrCheesy0o
You're right, it is a bloody good read. In fact, it's inspired me to make a competitive map. Of to Forge once again!

Absolute Dog
You know what I came out of that with? Right away he blew the whole Bloom Issue that this community has been complaining about, right out of the water. Pretty much made anyone and everyone who cried bout bloom look like the idiot they really are. "I guess we can say that we have established that we cannot feasibly increase the aiming skill gap. The direction we have to take is to focus on the teamwork aspect of Halo: Reach." Bloom encouraged teamwork btw. Whereas before, most people are in the mode where they just want to run around like chickens with their heads cut off thinking Halo is all about 1v1 battles everywhere. When's the last time one of you PRO's ever just made a point to watch someone elses back to make sure they don't die or have to face off against someone by themselves? Or are you the type of person that's always forging ahead, gotta be the hero? Seems to me, the only people who have any place to complain about bloom would be Non-Competitive randoms. Because if your not playing on a team owning a bunch of randoms....you're not competitive. You want to create a more competitive game. Quit trying to think your going to make an entire game competitive over the internet. Go reserve a conference center in your state and host massive lan parties. Because until you can simulate at least LAN conditions over the internet. screw it. BTW, I appreciate the fact that bloom is actually a choice now, and apparently adjustable. It's at least a step in the right direction. But there was a bigger, more massive problem punching you in the face, that you ignored. That was a mouthful, but do understand that you are a fan of or see the necessity for the bloom. Were I disagree is that bloom encourages teamwork and your antagonistic way of calling out people who end up in one on one battle as being "chickens with their heads cut off" and "want to be heroes". There are many who play both as a team player and attempt to handle the one on ones without asking for help or running away until help arrives. You seem to be grouping a lot of players into a tight category. If I have misunderstood your post please explain and I apologize in advance if I have mistaken the intent of your post.
