One
I read somewhere that it would not be martin o'donnell doing the music
MrSlAyEr13579
It has to be him that makes the music. HAS TO BE.
Kurt S-501
I couldn't tell you. If you watched the halo 4 panel at halo fest someone else was the music director, not marty. i wish it was marty though.
343industries
Same, I don't think he is doing it cause he is contracted with Bungie, but I wish he were, cause Halo soundtrack means O' Donnell to me.
Thedidact
There are so many composers that are fantastic!! Some that are slot better the donnel. I'm not worried... Based on the new directers cut trailer...
brandonwild11
Could they use music from other halo games?
Mikerox 117
Marty O'donnel isn't going to be composing the music for H4 (unfortunately v.v ) because he stayed with Bungie to do their new project

MrSlAyEr13579
I hope they keep piano music. I loved to listen to the Halo 3 soundtrack.
Adam91
Go on IMDB it says he's doing the music. it says on imdb that his latest work is on "halo" not halo 4 so it most likely means hes doing halo CEA
Son Of Anarchy
martys music is really good. too bad hes probably not going to be doing halo fours soundtrack. but hes been with bungie since the beginning and has pals there so i wouldnt leave them even if i had the choice to. CRISTOS
According to an interview of 343i done by GameInformer, Marty O'Donnel's compositions are still considered part of the essential heart of Halo. He, himself, will not be part of the process, however the music he has created will be maintained and expanded upon. There's a lot riding on faith right now but I'm feeling very confident in everything I've seen and read about 343... I believe we are in for something phenomenal. Raskulz
Imo Halo wouldn't have been as compelling of a game to play without the masterpiece that Bungie had created being coupled with for it's time a soundtrack that truly spoke to people, you could pre-near close your eyes and feel the emotions coming out of the game by just listening to the symphony in the background. That is what made Marty amazing in my own oppinion, a true sense of feeling was added to the game when those arcaic voices slowly started humming in - And the start of the drums and that wicked guitar riff that was made infamous by Halo:2. Not sure why I rambled that but Halo was an epic game in my oppinion and was polished off with the most soothing, melodical yet riveting soundtrack that got you just as pumped as the debut trailer release.
