I'm sure I am not the only one experiencing this problem, but I haven't seen a thread on it on the recent threads;

 

This is my first ever post on a forum for Halo, I have been a long time Halo fan, pretty much since the first one came out I have been playing this for over 10 years, and never once have I hopped on a forum to post this. But this got me pretty irritated;

 

Sure, went to the midnight release, game was a complete fail that week. That was fine with me

The second week of the release, still buggy, could not play with friends, hardly find matches, that was also fine with me.

Third week, still the game freezing, start up freezing, post game freezing, and still not allowed to join friends easily.

Today's date, I was enjoying myself with a few good friends of mine. As a matter of fact, we were doing AMAZING. We started at 10 PM playing some Anniversary Slayer, lasted all the way to around I would say 830 AM when this incident happened, and man were we doing work. We all hopped from levels 1 to 15/17/20 (Well it may not be a high level, but much of you know how many games you have to play to rank up, much less the losses inbetween these wins of ranking up). And how time consuming it is.

 

So I got to a  level 15, which I felt pretty happy about. I hop into the next matchmaking game, win it, and when we go back to the post lobby, me and my friend are reset back to a Level 1 in matchmaking.

 

Like really? It has been nearly a month and a half that this game has been released, and a bug like THIS one is not fixed? I love this game, and I have a HUGE fan of it but 343 these things are the reason people are not even playing this game and going to CoD, or Destiny...this is ridiculous.

 

Now I'm sure this is the only way I can even show my complaint as I'm sure the millions of complaint tickets you guys get you don't even read, but it would be nice to know if you guys are going to reset the whole levelling system after you fix all of this. Or would me and my friend get my rank back? (Which I highly doubt will happen) , or am I just forced to once again start all over, because of a mistake on YOUR end? An answer from a qualified moderator, representative, or at least some one that knows what they are talking about would be nice. Because I am sure I'm not the only one that experienced this.    Have a great day fellas.

The ranks as of now are to be taken with a grain of salt, they do not represent true skill and people are getting set back to level 1 or somewhat higher all the time.

343i is planning to, when the game is fixed, release ranks for more playlists (the playlists with "ranking coming soon" in the description) and along with it reset the ranks for all players so everything can start from scratch.
