343 should add equipment from halo 3

I have been playing the halo 5 guardians beta and I really enjoy it. I am curious as to how the BTB gameplay will be. I think it would be interesting for 343 to add in equipment into halo 5 for bigger maps with vehicles. They could even be made of forerunner tech but can only be used once like how equipment was in halo 3(bubble shield, flare...ect). So basically like an extra spartan ability you can only use once after you pick it up. They could also work along with the power weapon system of putting an icon for it on your hud when they spawn. Although one change I would implement is making them visible on your spartan as soon as you pick it up so other players can visually tell that you have a certain piece of equipment.

 

 

I would think this would play interesting only for certain gametypes.

I loved the equipment of Halo 3, and I think they should scrap the abilities and go with the equipment.  I was never quite comfortable with having an ability or item that I could constantly use without using it.  Equipment took a bit of strategy to use properly and you only got one shot to make it count.  idk...just my opinion on it.

I think that equipment in Halo 3 complimented the slower paced gameplay.

 

But with Halo 5 being a much faster paced game, equipment that you would have to pick up would just be tedious.

I agree. I think Equipment should be in Halo 5.
