ruckfoni
Hello, I bought Halo MCC around December 10-16 (can't remember) and played it before the 21 (of course) yet I haven't recieved my free month of Xbox live. Is there a specific reason why?
Unease Peanut
Have you played the MCC before the 19th whilst connected to XBL?
Twinreaper
Xbox Live just doesn't like you. Oh wait...you wanted a serious answer, because you thought we could do something to your account or that we work for 343i?!? Sorry lass, that aint us, and that aint how it works. If you were entitled to said free month, you will see it when you check your account status. Your Gold end date will be a month a longer than it was when you paid for your last subscription. So if you bought Gold in December for an entire year, your account should show that your account expires in january
Fishy
If you did in fact play before December 21st, you would have been granted the month of free gold. It's not a code, it's applied to your account automatically. You might want to check there first. (It's in account settings, check to see if your expiration date is extended.) However, if you are lying just to try and attempt to get the gold. Don't even bother. It's not going to work. They can check your online activity status, even if it's set to "Private." If this is legit, then push for it. I'm not calling you a liar without any proof, I'm saying they will check your account activity. Also, if they were having server issues at the time you were playing. You might not appear in the name log. That wuld suck to have happen every time you play. I would recommend give Xbox Customer Service a call, if not. Halo Waypoint works just as well.. However, if you wish to stay here on our Community Forums, that would be amazing. If not, that's fine. You choose though.

Of course I have which is why I'm curious as to why I havent. Xbox Live just doesn't like you. I was told that If I posted this here that I would get a reply from someone who could help because there is kind of no way to get in contact with anyone that can help. I'm a little bit clueless. The reason im asking is because everyone who DID receive their month of Xbox live recieved a message and I didnt. I checked on my account and no extra month was added. I'm also not tryin to cheat the system. I got the game on the 16 and played it the same day. do you know how I can contact Halo Waypoint? Or should I contact Xbox Customer Suppoet? Or should I contact Xbox Customer Suppoet? Alright, now that you have cleared that up, I can lead you in the right direction. If you want, you can contact Xbox Customer Support, they might just end up telling you the exact same thing. However, they actually do not tell you to come to this website, they tell you to go to 343 Industries Official Website. It's understandable, a lot of people don't pay attention and come here. We're the first one to come up on Google when you search for us. Now, you should try Halo Waypoint. The URL to reach them is here: http://halo.xbox.com Make a thread there and try to contact them, we cannot guarantee you will get your way but we can hope you get your answer from them. If you wish as well, you may stay here and join this Community if you would like. We have plenty of members that can help you and give you answers to problems. Not just Halo. The only negative of this, is we can't help you with actual in-game problems. That's why Halo Waypoint exists. Hope this helps!
Fox McCloud
Xbox live support will most likely solve your problem. I did not recieve my free month either, initially. I finally received it after a week or so. It might not be registering for you, because of server issues. This has been the first time I have heard of this specific issue. I can just tell you to go to XBL support. If that fails, try Halo Waypoint. The link is in the above post. They do deal with in-game problems and could better assist you with this situation. We would love to have you stay, however. :3 Take it easy.
