Popular Post Twinreaper
Figured I'd post this up, even though no one really plays Halo 2 PC anymore. With summer fast approaching, I'm hoping there will be a slight renewed interest, and I always wanted to pump out a complete map pack before I walk away from the game altogether. The following new 3 maps will be part of a collection of 10, due to be released June 5th, my birthday lols. The maps are NOT finished and will be worked on a bit more. Hopefully for anyone interested, the following in-game shots will be enough to give you the general idea. Enjoy! Map: Construct Map Begin Date: April 4, 2014 Map: Kazingo Boulevard Map Begin Date: December 23, 2014 Map: Last Resort Map Begin Date: January 17, 2014 For those interested, here is the map line-up for the map pack. BaconShelf
It's "Kizingo", not "Kazingo".
Twinreaper
No, I spelled it right. trying to avoid being sued lmao
BaconShelf
You can't be sued for a place name. You've already used Construct and Last Reaort and a bunch of others. Besides, if you're not making money off it they wouldn't sue you anyway.

Buns
Why isnt this being promoted more? This is great! Excellent job Twin! Will this work on a pirated copy of Halo 2 Vista? My legal copy doesnt work anymore because of Microsofts dumb key limit issue despite the fact I removed it from my other computers.
Melody
This is incredible! Nicely done with the maps! Have to nitpick though, the textures are a bit strange. I realize it's not a finished project, so I'll go easy on that. I think overall is outstanding though, very nicely done!
Kills_Alone
Naw, Twin does excellent work. H2v takes forever to light a map, sometimes days. I had a few maps take a week, and if one thing is wrong you get to start over. Fun, such repetitious fun to be had! Most likely, Gemini's Twin is using a lower lighting level to provide these previews within our life time and to continue working on them at a non-maddening pace. When the lighting render level is set to a lower level it will look kinda shoddy and the shadows will be terrible, not that H2v ever had amazing shadow tech in the first place. Last, Twin has a few missing/mislabeled textures. The rainbow print textures are thought by many uninformed users/players to be a graphical glitch, such as on H3 Sandtrap. But in truth that is the engine working as intended.
Silent Orbis
lol If I had a gaming PC I would totally download Halo 2 for free somehow just for your content, Twin. What looks more interesting than the maps is the weapon mods. Nice going, bro.
Twinreaper
Quick update. The 343i theme map that was Last Resort is coming along. Things are almost final and all the site add-ons are complete. Just need a few tweaks and run this puppy on Super lighting... Much MoM, so pink,,, As promised SD...I removed your graphic until the Destruct rebellion is squashed!
Frankenzer
That's cool Can I have a frame too?
Twinreaper
I may add more frames around the map of I can. As I said before, Im at pretty much the engine limits. If I do add more posters of members it will have to be thru decals or spawned scenery. Since I have no tools to create a perfect render model, I have to hope one converted from CE will display texture maps correctly, Also just want to take a moment to say how sorry I am that this map pack isnt ready yet. I ran into some time restraints due to lightmapping and some errors. As soon as the maps look good enough to me, you will have your maps!
Buns
Will it be possible to host a server and play these maps on them? If so I'll help any way I can.
Twinreaper
Since I reworked the maps to exclude normal map breaking guidelines, these maps will indeed be able to be hosted and will require no workarounds or patches in order to play them.
