Sniper0092 Posted April 6, 2015 Report Share Posted April 6, 2015 I find them overused. It's not completely the zombies themselves, it's the way they are used. It seems like they are always in the "realistic" apocalyptic scenario. They are usually done well, but this concept for zombies is getting old. Why not more creative ways to use them? Why not some interesting traits? Like the Resident Evil zombies? Or zombies with powers? A half zombie half human superhero? Like Sid from Soul Eater. For the most part, I've kinda gotten sick of zombies, but not nearly as bad as vampires have gotten on my nerves. (Yeah, I'm still under the belief that the sun burns vamps.) Kinda miss werewolves at this point, come to think of it. (And Underworld on that note) But zombies have been around for a while.. so I guess there's always a niche that they can be included in, so long as it makes sense.
