Since you guys took control of Halo: Reach, I've a multitude of issues. All on Team SWAT.

 

Three times now I've gotten 21, 22, and 21 kills respectively, yet the game gave me 19 kills each time. The first two games happened back-to-back and the third one happened two days ago. The third was the strangest however.

 

I had 21 kills and 7 deaths. Yet the stats said I only had 19 kills.

 

There was a point in the game where I had 5 kills and 6 deaths before I ripped off 12 kills before dying again. Yet, 343i only gave me a killing spree of 6 and didn't even recognize the fact that I had 12 kills in a row, obviously including a killing frenzy but I didn't receive one. And there are more issues I've had with Halo: Reach recently: There are numerous accounts of blatant cheating by opposing players. Shooting people in the head with a DMR/Magnum (on Team SWAT) apparently doesn't guarantee you a kill anymore, you can assassinate someone and the person who is being assassinated somehow gets his own showstopper, and the respawn points on some maps are downright unfair. At least give a respawning player either 3 seconds invincibility after respawning (to avoid spawn killing and/or give the player the option of choosing where they respawn (like in firefight, or invasion) to avoid instant death upon respawn.

 

 

All of the above things have happened since September 1st, 2011.

Rockstar it is impossible to determine what happened based on just the stats. Fact is you could have betrayed two people during your spree and were so into the game you did not recognize that you did it. Would account for the difference in numbers and the break in the kill count for the spree. Make a video, in the future, of the entire game if you want to offer actual proof of game events. Secondly, the complaint about hitting the head shot box and not getting kills in swat is not new. The group I play with complains about it on occasion, yet when I go back and watch videos I see the missed shots, even mine. From what I understand it could happen for many reasons. One is a slight lag, another is a players "feeling" he had a head shot when he was missing the "head" shot box. Host connection may also explain this issue. It balances itself, usually, because you yourself will benefit from a hit when actually do not deserve it in another game.

You can get a showstopper when you are being assassinated. Just throw a grenade off a wall or next to you right before it happens. I have gotten a few of them that way. Show the whole video next time for more evidence to know what really did happen. There always has been and always will be cheating, boosting accounts in Halo it is much better than it used to be but will always be there to an extent.

when the game switches host, your sprees get reset. and sometimes it screws with your stats. why are you complaining though. the in-game total is what is correct. and that is all that matter for win/loss. i've had this happens across all game formats whether it be snipers, invasion, big team, or swat. it seems that when the game switches host it loses track of a few kills in your stats. and it happens in a very small percentage of games.
