Batman: Arkham Knight PC Patch Update!

Recommended Posts

With the ongoing PC issues plaguing Batman: Arkham Knight, Rocksteady has provided an update on one upcoming patch which will fix a few major bugs.

Batman: Arkham Knight, the final chapter in the franchise created by Rocksteady, recently released on current generation consoles and PC, with the PC version hosting a plethora of massive issues forcing the game to be pulled from Steam entirely. Since then, Rocksteady reports through IGN.com that they have been working hard to patch the game and are making great progress. They revealed an interim patch will be releasing within the next two weeks if all goes according to plan, and that it is currently being tested. A representative stated, "We are happy to confirm that we are now putting the first interim patch into testing. If all goes well, we expect to issue the patch in the next few weeks. We’ll be sure to report back in the next two weeks on how the testing is coming along." The update will include performance fixes, enhanced game settings, etc. The full list of fixes can be read in the article linked above, but it is unlikely this will be the final patch considering Rocksteady's list of other lower priority issues. Batman: Arkham Knight is available for purchase now on Xbox One and PS4, and can still be bought physically for PC.

Wait, this thing still has not had a patch or is not on steam?!

What a joke.

Its clear a patch is not Rocksteadys priority and it is actually dlc. I cannot take that long to come out with a simple patch to fix the massive issues the pc version has.

As there is no way that any of this slipped through development, Rocksteady knew about this months before the game came out....

Now the real question is how did it get to this?!

Saddening when even some of the greatest developers can take a plunge into the buggy darkness.....  :(
