I'm a halo fan for years but for the past couple years, it was all about money, i won't make this long, so remember one thing, halo is no longer a game we used to call in and stay home play all day, it was ruined by the old bungie's because of hackers and money, MS bought the right of halo games because they think halo can sold more x1 for them. just like how they will remove split screen, why ? it's all about selling more x1 and halo 5. don't believe what lies they will tell you, it's all about selling more copy of halo and x1. don't buy the game until they bring back split screen. i don't care how much u hated or love halo games, we all wanted split screen. i will not buy halo 5 until they bring back split screen. bump here! :popo:

That was a hard read, had to actually re-read a couple sentences to understand what you were saying.

Nonetheless, splitscreen or not. I will be buying Halo 5 regardless. Mostly because I play solely. Also, milking the franchise? I could care less, I'm still for the games. Hell, I buy Nintendo games and they've been releasing the same concept for years. Just newer system and specs, but same characters.

Also, the games finished. It's going out here in a few weeks after a few tweaks. Then we will be waiting until release day. So you're going to be waiting awhile. Unless they add it to MCC in 10 years. Then it'll probably have splitscreen, just like Spartan Ops can be played offline on there. (I wonder why the Hell they changed their mind for MCC, but didn't update Halo 4 with it. )

So to say this nicely, it's not happening. The games done. We're sorry.

You do know Microsoft owned the franchise since before it launched... Right?

Besides, I'm pretty sure every definition of the word would say it's a game.

Also, I don't want splitscreen. Not if it means sacrificing 60 fps. I haven't used it in years.

We really need a speach correction feature...did the OP use a 5 year old to type this? LOL

Seriously though, Microsoft bought the Halo brand from Bungie to help Bungie NOT go bankrupt, and did so long before Halo became an FPS.

Bungie didn't ruin anything. Bungie created Halo, and therefore ran it and developed EXACTLY as they had planned, with minimal interuption from Microsoft aside from the whole RTS > FPS shift. Of coarse Microsoft is all about selling Xbox One's, it's the bread and butter of their Games division. It's also the exact reason we will never see another FPS Halo on the PC for the next half to full decade if we're lucky.

Insulting OP's intelligence whilst failing to spell correctly.

Oh, the irony.

I was never able to say this, but now with the experience of the GOW UE 30fps single player and 60fps multiplayer I can truly say that switching inbetween them is a true pain in the butt.

If sacrificing split-screen means we can have 60fps I'd choose 60fps any day!

I've already pre-ordered my LE and am not planning to cancel it.

I was not insulting his intelligence, as you would cleaely know if I was.  I was simply correcting his "misinformation".  As for spelling, I was using my tablet, and it twends to registwer key presseß wrong and I type faster than it can keep up with.

  • 3 weeks later...

Halo 5 is not a game nor a product, its a peace of crap just like 343.

Just like Halo 4.

Um it does not matter what you think of Halo 5 because clearly you are letting your person opinion effect your judgement.

Halo 5 is still a game/a product. No matter how bad you think it is, you cant change these types of facts.

Besides the game has yet to come out anyway! :)
