Can we please have rocket race again? Or assassinations only?

I've always respected halo but I haven't been addicted to it since halo 3, that game I put 100+ hours into but I don't think I've even hit 50 in any that followed. One of my favorite memories with gaming was back in halo 3, having to go to bed at like 11 as a kid in school and waking up at like 3 a.m to hop on halo with my buddy to play with the sound off to avoid getting in trouble. And we did this alot, because we were flat out addicted to rocket race! Me and my friend were confident that we had to be one of the best duos in the world (haha but prob not) at the mode. We could stick to the rules and win consistently driving from marker to marker. But the real joy we round in this mode was blasting someone off of their mongoose and then running up to them and engaging them in an assassination battle. This was no longer the case when the mode returned in a later halo because there was a timer when you got off the bike. But back in the good old halo 3 days, those assassination only battles where its just you and a friend trying to circle the other two guys and hit them on the back with a melee before they do it to you,are still my favorite memories with halo. I would LOVE to see that mode come back in halo 5 WITHOUT THE TIMER in an update or something. But I suppose I'm just hungry for an assassinations only kind of game mode. Id love to see the rocket race but now that I think about it,that AND a mode with assassinations only would be amazing cause there's times when you want to do rocket race but I mainly loved the assassinations. A mode where you have multi teams going out there trying to get the most assassination kills would be sooo fun cause you wouldn't have to worry about getting shot and it would make every encounter more personal, and you could teabag your enemy comfortably. Please consider

Well like all other titles, they're going to start with the standard playlists first when Halo 5 launches. Maybe over time we'll get something like Action Sack as we've seen in MCC and that should contain Rocket Race and possibly an Assassination only gametype?

I'm sure you could play it in custom games once Halo 5 comes out and you get a good group of to play too.

I hate to be honest but I doubt this will ever become a dedicated playlist in Halo 5 matchmaking so custom games might be your only option.

Rocket race was a fun gimmick, but its not worth its own playlist. Like D_D said, maybe in Action Sack but then I doubt it'll be any different from Halo 4 or H2A.

There's probably going to be a ton of race maps forged though and if the file Share is up and running you'll be able to download those and have a fun custom game (in which you can set your own set of rules).
