Alvaro Todd
Ive been playing halo for almost 14 years now and i even waited outside the store to have my Halo 5 copy at MIDNIGHT... Just to get home and have my 9 Gb update that literally took 5.5 hours to complete in god knows what... Then to my surprise i noticed there was not local multiplayer anymore. Why the **** would i have all my friends at their own house to play halo over xbox live? If that would be the case i has bought a PC.... Keep it the way previous halos had their local multiplayer. Also, graphics are terrible!!!! They are worse than halo 4 and multiplayer maps have that forge look that makes me feel that there was low to non effort implied on the designs. Aiming feels strange unnatural different than any other halo. That "scratched" look on the armor looks ugly, it just looks like a white outline on every armor part. Campaign is all about locke... A character poorly developed in the game taking aside "nightfall" Sadly i think this is a rental game and no more. I should have bought call of duty or star wars. This was such a waste of money MCC is way better than this...
Unease Peanut
So you got a game at the midnight launch but did not know about the lack of split-screen... This is why you should do research before you buy something. The update sucks I agree, there have been multiple reports of this but you can't blame 343i for this since it's more on the side of Microsoft. Also do you honestly belive that Halo 4 looked better? Sure Halo 5's 1080p and 60 fps look way worse than Halo 4's xbox 360 graphics...

Regarding to movies and videogames i try to keep a little away from trailers and things like that, because i found that very frequently major spoilers are given out. The last thing i would ever think of is the removal of multiplayer, because its dumb, halo IS multiplayer, its not just a feature.... And not that halo 4 looks better it was just a rough comment but have you noticed how awful and poor shadows look like? Logos and signs on walls look pixelated... There are many graphical opportunities here :/ or maybe all this flaws look increased for me due to the lack of escencial Halo things lost
RumblingLAZ
I agree completely about the graphics, they aren't terrible but they definitely don't have that 'next gen' look that I was expecting. Looks like a game that could easily have been released 5 years ago on Xbox 360...

It is nearly impossible for even a high end PC to handle THAT much area on the highest fidelity, let alone for the Xbox One. Actually, a 6 year old PC with at least a GeForce 9600GT could easily (roughly) handle Crysis 3 on Maximum settings and not hiccup. Cryengine 3 can produce upwards of 1.5 milion polys at one time, combined with numerous and much better partical effects. Halo 5's version of the Blam! engine has obviously sacraficed quality rendering for quantity.

There are many graphical opportunities here :/ or maybe all this flaws look increased for me due to the lack of escencial Halo things lost That's because of 60fps. With the game running at 60fps at all times, the blam engine has been upgraded to have a dynamic resolution and framerate. Problem is that resolution is janky as hell. Look at this video to fully understand what I mean: https://youtu.be/-gQMulb6T2o You can see that shadow effects, smoke effects etc as done at a lower resolution to avoid buffing the framerate. Textures also suffer depending on how far away you are and they change jarringly. We also have animations suffering at lower framerates. So you could have a Grunt shooting at you at 30fps. But you are firing back at 60fps. It just looks odd. Plus the ground textures are disgusting. The point is the game's engine is not designed for this so everything has a rough edge.
