Few questions on ranks

Is this accurate? I had a few questions with this. I like how halo switched to this. It works out for games such as CSGO and league which have similar systemss. What is interesting for me is where the majority lie. Which in those games the majority lie in bronze, silver, and maybe gold. I'm curious about that.

1) Is this accurate? Why aren't the majority of players in bronze and silver, maybe gold.

2) From this chart it seems as if 20% are in onyx, the highest tier. Why is that?

3) Can you provide percentages, I'd be estimating too much to get accurate ones.

I don't think it matters as much because it's broken like everything else in the game.

And I highly doubt that, your chart shows a LOT more people are in Gold and Platinum. Like 5% of people are in Onyx, not 20%

Basically, 2% Champion, 4% Bronze, 4% Onyx, 15% Silver, 15% Diamond, 30% Gold, 30% Platinum

At least that's the easiest way I'd estimate the percentages.

And to answer your first question, who knows? 343 are the only ones who could confirm this. But Halo 5 goes by a win-loss system, and a performance system... If you play in a team and win, you go up a rank... After 6 ranks, next tier... And so on. It's not difficult, just takes a few matches and you rank up. And more people are in Silver, Gold, and Platinum because Bronze is literally for players who have -50KDA, so basically letting your 3 year old cousin play for 10 matches and getting you certified.

That's kind of what I want. Is a 343 answer. I messed up my calculations. It's what I get for doing them 2 minutes after I woke up! woops. It's not a rank per win. Sure it's not a perfect system, but it's competitive and the more time with it the more perfect it will be. I don't see the gold and platinum numbers being the highest being a good thing, and think they should push more to the bottom tiers. It's like that in other games and I think it should be.

What interests me is that most people seem to be in the first rank of each tier, shouldn't it be more equally spread?

Anyway, Gold and Platinum are the average tiers and that's fine. If it was scaled any more to Silver or Bronze people would most likely be stuck with teammates with extreme skill gaps since you're basicly putting all the Plats and Golds with Silvers and Bronze's at that point. It would make for a more balanced scheme in the higher skill ranks, but at the cost of unbalanced lower ranks.
