CaptainDireWolf
Map name: Imperial City Gametype: Mainly aesthetic, but it has been great fun in big team lobbies: Free for all, red-blue team slayer, strongholds, capture the flag, assault. Welcome to the IMPERIAL CITY. This map is inspired by one of my favorite games of all time, the Elder Scrolls "Oblivion"; (which just marked it's 10 year anniversary recently). The circular city features 6 major districts around the city: Market, Elven Gardens, Talos Plaza, Arena, Temple, and Aboretum; along with the Imperial Palace located in the center. Side note: watch out for the Oblivion Gates, because after a period of time two portals will open up in different locations within the map, allowing players to quickly traverse between the gates. Check out more pictures of the map: See forgehub link: http://www.forgehub.com/maps/imperium.2056/ Thanks and hope you like it! - CaptainDireWolf

Zandril
No no. If the map creator built it as a competitive map and wants it to be treated like a competitive map, then it stays here. I was just saying that it's more of an aesthetic map in my eyes.

Of course its primarily aesthetic, but I worked hard to make it playable in almost all gametypes. Not good enough for a ZannyVideo eh? Tough crowd... tough crowd. More of an aesthetic map than a competitive map if you ask me. Also, what kind of maps are you looking for to feature these days Zanny? More podracer maps? lol. I know some of my maps like the light cycle arena had some bugs that caused some aesthetic downgrade issues, but I thought some of the other ones like "The Crusade" were pretty adventurous and cool. Still, I don't mean to complain. Just looking for the right audience I suppose

Tough crowd... tough crowd. If it was primarily aesthetic, you should have posted it in aesthetic maps I might have considered it there. This map simply isn't the kind that I need when I'm looking for competitive maps to feature. It needs verticality, proper routes, proper power positions, and quite frankly, it doesn't have a layout that would work for competitive gameplay. Still, I don't mean to complain. Just looking for the right audience I suppose I feature anything that I like. Doesn't matter what kind it is. It's a shame about the aesthetic downgrade you had to give Light Cycle but if it stays in its current state, I just don't see myself featuring it. The light bikes made that map for me. And I was actually going to feature The Crusade but The Epidemic beat me to that. I try to avoid featuring maps already shown by other forge YouTube channels. Is it still possible to move this to the aesthetic section then? I think you're right in that its more for the aesthetic. It's too big and the layout isn't ideal for typical competitive gameplay. CaptainDireWolf
More of an aesthetic map than a competitive map if you ask me. Hey Zanny, I made some major updates to the textures of the map to make it look more like the castle-y feel of the Imperial City from Oblivion. I also fixed a lot of buggy z-fighting too that was plaguing the map. Let me know what you think of the update. Thanks!
