Fishy
Remove Hijack's and Skyjack's. Think about it, your vehicle is now actually a power vehicle and does its job. Edited December 21, 2016 by Fishy
Guts
No. It's always been a thing and it's never been a problem. If you keep getting boarded and destroyed or your vehicle is stolen, that's not the games problem. You need to get better at watching every route of attack. PHIL0S0PHY
No, it adds fun challenge to the game, and as it is there are already a lot of power weapons, but maybe it could be fun I'm certain game modes
I_Make_Big_Boom
No, but I think there should be a way to shake hijackers off. Like a field you could activate that zaps attackers and blasts them off, or just straight up pushing them off in time. Like being in a Warthog drivers seat, and having someone latch on only to be sucker punched off. And like Kakashi said, this is only an issue when you're not looking out for yourself or when you don't have a team to back you up. Nice question though.
Unease Peanut
The reason why vehicles are so hijackable in Halo 5 is because Sprint+Thrust makes you almost as fast as most vehicles and faster than the heavy vehicles. If the could nerf the range and "sweet spot" of the hijack prompt area and make it so that 9/10 hijacks aren't complete BS then that would be a step in the right direction. Also maybe make the heavy vehicles some more resistant to hijack attacks to counter their slow movement to prevent every tank being destroyed by a single grenade. Drizzy_Dan
I don't think it should be removed and I'm rating this thread 5 stars for the clickbait title. Edit: just realized you can't rate threads anymore.
Fishy
What if they re-implement the old system? Three smacks and a whack? Of course the higher tier vehicles would take more melee's to break the hatch/cover plate. Although you could now get sniped out of the driver seat, hijacks would require a melee and then grenade plant. Halo Reach removed this feature, but Halo 2/3 had it. As well as they could bring back only door perimeter hijacks, which gets rid of the ghost hijacks from the front bs, forcing you to only get on the driver side to claim the vehicle as yours.
