God Superweapon
I seriously don't have any clue what 343 Industries or anybody is talking about when they say there's a Halo 1 M6D Magnum in the Anniversary map pack for Halo: Reach. Everybody says there is, I mean the real Halo 1 magnum, in the multiplayer map pack, not the Reach magnum. Is it hidden somewhere in all seven Anniversary maps to pick up? Or is it simply the Halo: Reach magnum with the same weapon damage as the original Halo 1 M6D Magnum? This is bullcrap
CandiBunni
It's not bullcrap. They said that they were going to modify the firing rate and damage to replicate the Halo 1 magnum. There is no magnum hidden on the maps. It's the Reach magnum with the damage modified to replicate the power of the original Halo: CE magnum, and the firing rate may or may not have been changed as well. You can also fire it by holding down the trigger, just like the CE magnum.
AlmostHero
They didn't really add anything and they never said they would. They simply tweaked a few aspects of Reach's multiplayer.
Absolute Dog
Yeah it is the Reach magnum modified to have the characteristics of the CE magnum. The firing rate does not match the originals yet, that may get updated. The original Mag is only available in campaign.

GlobalHawk722
Personally i though the original magnum looked weird anyway.
jaymore012
Im a little disappointed too. I thought it was going to be a completely different weapon added to the sandbox. I like it better than the reach magnum though. Not because it's powerful, but because its spammably accurate... most of the time.
