Halo CEA GRD Dolls?

I'm sure most, if not all, of you have seen or heard of the GRD dolls on the new multiplayer maps...

 

The use of this topic is to discuss rumors/theories on what the heck these could be used for or why they're even in the game. I know, "It's just an easter egg " but still, there has to be some kind of purpose.

The most common theory is that they might unlock the GRD helmet in the future, or be part of a larger series of steps to unlock the GRD helmet.

That map pack was way too big for just maps...there has to be something they're not telling us. I mean, 1.3GB, really?

Well there are six or seven maps. That's why it's so big.

I think they're kind of funny looking dolls that 343 Industries put there to taunt us or something.

The fact that the grd helm is on the teddy is proof that the helmets on game now all we need to do is put that. Texture on our helm some how?

No. The teddy bears wearing the helmet is not proof that the helmet is in the game. There's no way for us to put that "texture" (which is actually a model AND textures) onto our Spartans.

ive seen all the grd Dolls they were easy to find

They look funny and make a funny sound when hit plus they do look awesome...maybe just an easter egg and nothing more?

GRD looks tempting to search, but the dolls really don't look like they are apart from earning the helmet
